That Armour Shampoo+ truly looks like it has the right consistency as it uses gravity well to remove dirt, but still stays on the paint and other substrates. Looks like a 5-star shampoo!

What a nice maintenance bath for the Lady in Blue 🤩! Gyeon Mohs is second to none ! The beading and sheeting is jaw-dropping... Did the paint need an alcaline soap to tackle road grime ? I thought you were going to use a pH neutral one. Anyways, it did not affect the water behavior, it did even reinforce it, if that makes sense... That Decon Soap did a wonderful job of cleansing the coating and restoring its hydrophobic properties. It was an amazing project all around in every respect. I wish winter wasn't so intense here, but tackling multi-day jobs with my SQ5 outside unprotected just gives me too much anxiety.

The Armour Detail Supply products were definitely as easy to work with as it appeared in this video. They left the car gleaming but left me fully satisfied as well. I have the good fortune of repping a number of quality companies, and Armour is no different. I have used almost every product of theirs including their Quartz Ceramic Coating on the Polestar Volvo and I have been impressed with each and every one of them.

I think the beauty of the detailing process deserves more attention. Lots of people taking about how to do this and that and what product works the best, but I like to accentuate the satisfying aesthetics of what is actually going on and the music just makes it all the more relaxing.

Phenomenal work as always, Rick! If you happen to be in close contact with Armor detail supply, perhaps suggest having different color labeling with their bottling of each product? Knowing me, id definitely grab the wrong bottle on accident while just not paying close attention and probably put a product somewhere it doesn’t belong with all them being green. I famously used Koch Chemic ASC on my windows once because that bottle matched the look of their Glass Cleaner! Is that a modified hose on that Metrovac blower? If so where did you get it? I want to use my 8hp blower inside my one car garage but the hose that came with it is so dang stiff and need something nimble enough to use in tight spaces. Great detail Rick, that is a pretty rad wagon!

It is modified in the sense that I purchased an extension hose that connects to the hose it came with, but they are the same type of hose. It is a bit hard to deal with until it heats up. Inputting your coupon code worked! I always pre-treat vehicles with a foam and Shampoo+ is a great soap to emulsify the crusty dirt. After pressure washing off the clinging foam, I hit this car with a Decon soap in the event any particulates were lurking on the paint. Once I finished with the Pre-Foam and the Contact Wash, the paint was flawless to the touch. I am fortunate that my garage allows me to do this virtually year-round. Thanks for watching.
