I and all the other ABBAFans thank you for your sweet words. I have been following this story since the first two songs were released, and I heard Faith in You on the radio one afternoon. ABBA was the most anticipated return at the least expected moment At their average 70 years old (Agnetha is between 4 and 5 years younger than the rest) they returned to the recording studio together after 35 years, after everything they went through in their lives, to record this monumental song, and the masterpiece musical "Don't shut me down" and the experience was so fantastic that not even COVID could stop them, and they ended up recording an album worthy of their history, and leading an unprecedented project with the new Voyage Concerts (who have already been in London for a year and a half, with more than 1 and a half million tickets sold, planning to open a new residency in Australia and/or North America ABBA is simply majestic, they are at the top and at the forefront, but they retain their Swedish humility, the Ginnes records must make a place for this ABBA epic I hope to see them together soon with the reaction to "Don't shut me down" a cordial greeting from Buenos Aires, Argentina South America

One of my life regrets is not having seen ABBA live in concert during their North America tour in 1979 (no tour stops in state of Arkansas), I was a young teen and the closest nearest to me was in Chicago. A big fan since hearing their first worldwide hit Waterloo I was so saddened when the group went their separate ways in 1982. I was so emotionally thrilled when they announced a reunion of sorts with a new full album and a new type of concert experience. Upon watching this music video of ISHFIY I unexpectedly burst into sobbing tears of joy. No way was I going to miss an ABBA concert this time around, I got tickets for three shows and flew to London just to experience Voyage. The experience was truly exciting, magical, so fun, and accomplished, for the most part, of filling that void of missing them live in their heyday. I do hope Voyage comes to America, I will go see it again !

What a wonderful story! I was only 13 at that time. I knew and loved the music through my teens and I've seen many concerts, ABBA wasn't one of them, sadly. I have seen a tribute band a few years ago, that's as close as I've gotten...SO FAR! London or Bust, someday! lol. Cheers, Bobby!

Btw since you both guys commented in your discussion .... it's not the same thing bringing back Elvis,Hendrix,Morrison,Michael etc without even asking them.They are not alive to be put into motion capture sessions the way Abba did it.Abba were asked and willingly did this giving permission and offering themselves (facial expressions/body moveents) all 4 alive and kicking working hard for 5 whole weeks in the filming proccessThis wasn't excactly even Ai.It was real Benny,Bjorn,Agnetha,Anni-Frid captured and then getting digitally detaged.It's amazing.

Yeah, I get that. Of ALL the technology and the awful things that are being done with it by some, I think that re-creating those musical Icons, if just to play their own library of music would be considered an honor. To help keep their names in our hearts & minds, while keeping their music alive for our youth. (WHO DEFINITELY NEED SOME BETTER OPTIONS) LOLOL. I understand there's a difference, but tech keeps getting smarter, why not use it to do something so Wonderful? I'd love to see "Elvis" Avatar on Stage! I was too young to see him back in the day. I am leery of some of the advancements we're making, but we also can't ignore that it's coming. So, we need to make the best of it. lol. MUSIC IS the best way I know, for Entertainment purposes anyway.

What makes it more believable with ABBA was the ability to utilize motion capture, other artists, ie. Elvis, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, it wouldn't be as believable due to the inability to capture the dead members motions and likeness, as well as mannerisms. That's what makes this so unique, now other artists that are all living, well they definitely have a viable shot at obtaining this for sure.

Sadly this technology needs the alive person to duplicate them . Developed by Star Wars team and ABBA, they just recently developed a show for Kiss with this technology , Barry gibb, Rod Stewart and The Rolling Stones to name a few have attended the show of ABBAtars . There are plans after their succes with ABBA VOYAGE show they will construct another Arenas probably in Vegas, Australia and Korea

@@alexioverdo5225 beside the detection of every move , facial and body of them performing each song , these were transferred to their digital selves , Dolce and Gabbana and other famous designers developed the new wardrobes and those clothes were also digitally scanned . Each jewel dolce and Gabbana put on their dresses were also scanned and this technology is multiple screens of 70 million pixels that move create like a virtual reality and reality . Plus millions of new lightning and effects and the best of sounds that gives the best audible experiencia helped with the specially shape of the arena , You know they’re not real but it’s so real , besides the music band plays live all the music just the voices are from recordings plus speeches and bits re recorded by ABBA. They used to play new songs during their concerts they did worldwide nos they decided to write 2 songs for the show but the corrections to the technology plus the pandemics delayed the project so during this time they decided to maybe record 4 songs and that pause lead them thankfully to complete a whole album but that doesn’t mean they are back but there are rumors they recorded some other songs when completing voyage so us fans have the hope they release them eventually if ever . Time will tell , maybe when they change the repertoire of songs in the show to renew it cos they also made more songs with this technology but only about 20 are in the show at the moment .

Technically they already have cracked most of the expensive stuff such as the film of the ABBAtars which can be cheaply cloned. The rest, while not cheap, will be cheaper when done for a second and subsequent Arena. There can be dozens of ABBA Arenas around the world. The time will mainly be getting planning permission and building an Arena. I cannotcsee them having problems raising the money.
@Vikinggirl16797 ай бұрын
Actually they could not do this with MJ or Elvis. The avatars aka abbatars have to be designed from a living person. ABBA spent months 8 hours a day in special motion catching suits with 160 cameras that captures every movement, even the eyes and their bresthing. That's why they are scarily real. A holigram was tried with Whitney Houston and it was terrible. Could see right through it. So if any bands with the living members want to do this, do it now!
