It should be clear that I love the Punisher, but what might not come through here is how much I genuinely love Wolverine as a character. His was actually the first comic book I ever bought when I went looking for them, because I loved the X Men cartoon on Fox. It was an issue where Logan had been gutted and left for dead in the desert, and he couldn't even regenerate the damage done because back then he needed proteins and such as fuel for his body to do its healing factor thing. So what he does is, Wolvie grabs one of the vultures that come to eat his body, and he eats chunks of it raw, so he can regrow his organs and get himself back in action. The art was brutal and violent and amazing, it has to be seen to be believed, and a 13 year old me was hooked right away. I would go on to collect Wolverine's series all the way back from 87 or so (current issue) back to issue 1, and it would be my first complete set up until I stopped reading it around issue 250, because at that point enough was enough, and I was onto plenty of other books and heroes by then. Still, Wolverine will always have a special place in my heart, so know that this comedic version of him is done with love and respect. But I kinda think I owe him another good episode after this. I'll be thinking about it.

Thanks. I'm not a narcissist, I know that's not literally true, but I still like when people say it anyway. It's a nice thing to say. Not every story has to be super deep and meaningful to have value, sometimes it's fine for it to just be as entertaining as it can be. As Charlie Chaplin said, "sometimes the best thing we can do for people is just to give them a laugh and a smile."

Hey! We talked in some Facebook comments the other day and you recommended your channel. Took me a minute to get to this, but I wanted to read the story arc again before checking this out. This is awesome! I'll try to see what else you've got in the future, and I subscribed, so keep it up!

I'm wrapping up my next Green Arrow episode, so that'll be up next, and there's 5 others in that series if you want to do the whole run. But if you just want to see what it's about, I'd say check out Hunter's Moon or the last one, Green Arrow 5 The Black Arrow Saga, and a few issues should let you know if you'll like it or not. It's a very unique book made for mature readers back in the late 80's, pre-Vertigo, and set oddly apart from the superheroes but still in the DC universe. As for Marvel there's a bit more, I loved Wolverine and Ennis Punisher, X Men at times, and Fantastic Four, but you'll see I'm more of a DC guy, Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, JLA, all that is the meat of the channel, with weird art stuff stuck in here and there like Invisibles and Promethea when I need something deeper to delve into. Also I'm adapting the Before Watchmen series, and I did a version of Doomsday Clock when the HBO show was on, so people could compare them. I don't do a lot that ties into current releases, but I did some Indy comics for Dial and I have a fair amount of Dark Horse up too. I just try to show off the medium as I saw it growing up and encourage people to want more, mostly 80s-2010's was my era, and there's endless comics to find without needing to pay attention to the modern industry, which I really don't. Hope you enjoy, and thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! I usually only get one episode out a month, but there's a lot to discover as I try to show what a wide and engaging medium comics can be. I encourage you to explore, and to explore the books beyond the episodes, because there's always more to enjoy.

Thanks! I thought it came out very well, also. I had great material to work with, very little to trim down. Ennis reads at a great pace already.
