We are running out of public meeting areas to literally just talk and connect with other human beings. Between the influx of pure online interactions and people having just enough time to pay bills, it's hard to get those strong connections our grandparents and parents had. That's my take, I'd love a lodge.

When I was 13 I went to a summer camp and everyone, including the counselors, hated the lady in charge of everything. On the 2nd to last day I noticed that she was really dressed up. She was wearing a woman's suit and her nails/hair were done up nice. There was a pavilion where you could walk on the roof so I carried a bucket of water up there and waited for the lady to walk by. I dumped the whole bucket on her! All the campers died laughing but I noticed that all the counselors had serious faces.
