I agree with what you are saying. But, this one episode he was wrong and I mean really wrong. I am not going anywhere just wanted to share that info. Iran did retaliate in an extremely novel and unprecedented attack (which is ironic as the general we killed was Iran's best general and very experienced military strategist (allegedly)! 1000 Troops were present, along with over 50 drones. Thankfully most of the troops were in vehicles out in the desert just watching and recording. Some needed to stay and maintain the base still, all aircraft/drones, and all vehicles were either flying missions or circling the base only so that they were not destroyed in the attack. The troops were there as an Iranian ballistic missile attack rained down on Al Asad Airbase in Iraq. The crazy thing is there was no plan for this attack there is NO defense from this attack no one had used these weapons in this fashion and like this being so close to where they launched from. They fucking shot ICBMs these were no cool dudes! They were using 1000-2000lbs bombs that is them not fucking around. Read up on it is insane what these troops went through it is called "Operation Martyr Soleimani". There were 1000 troops a few clicks away and they said their chests were compressing from shockwaves. Soldiers that stayed at the base said they were being lifted up and thrown around. I am pretty sure over 100 soldiers received medical treatment for traumatic brain injuries and received purple Hearts
