Weird how it's always the tiniest little parts of radiohead songs that really grab me. 2:58, when he says "who's got the loneliest feeling, the fact that he lets it hang on the second instead of just going back to root like in the first verse just makes it sound awesome.

its just a radio hooked up to his effects pedals, and then he just flicks through the stations. brilliant

This song seems like the beginning of Jonny not playing the guitar nearly as much as the early Radiohead era, and introducing what they were going to sound like about 5 years from this performance

@banksyknight I'd be surprised if he'd try to break that guitar. He used it all the time during the OKC era. But after looking at the part you're talking about, I think he was just feeding it back in to his monitor, and doing so somewhat aggressively.

In this video it is actually a Theremin he is using, i don't think he started using the Radiohead until after Kid A. The theremin is very similar to his Ondes Martenot, but as it uses frequencies it can also be used to pick up radio signals

it's french, I assume, as the concert is held in France, and what you're hearing is a radio station jonny synthonizes at the beginning and ending of the song.

I love Radiohead but they lack energy when they're live. This song would have a much greater impact if there was more movement Like I wanna see Thom completely flip shit, that's how i imagine it to be when i hear the album version
