In my opinion, Radiohead's best attribute as a collective is the lack of ego. Honest, incredible musicians each with individual talent in their own right. Lovely song from a brilliant band.

I noticed that Ed, especially, is really happy throughout this entire From the Basement session. Colin and Philip are totally into the music and Jonny, as usual, is in his own world. Thom seems totally relaxed, and it's so cool to see him laugh and joke around. It's obvious from the video, and the performance, that they all get on really well. Thom's vocals are extraordinary. Of course, I've never heard a "bad" Radiohead performance. *FACEPALM* What am I saying? I don't think such a thing exists......

At a concert in Glendale, Arizona, Thom Yorke said, "..it [the song, Reckoner] was born out of a very trippy dream, one of those ones you wake up from and go, 'aww man, I don't want to wake up from that, ever." "Yet how superb, across the tumult braided, The painted rainbow's changeful life is bending, Now clearly drawn, dissolving now and faded, And evermore the showers of dew descending! Of human striving there's no symbol fuller: Consider, and 'tis easy comprehending - Life is not light, but the refracted color." -Faust

Many people don't like Radiohead. I can understand them because, at first, it sounds weird. But if you open your mind to them and let them take you on the journey of their music you'll feel like something in you suddenly changes, something somewhere around some pain. At first, it can really look like something unpleasant; but once the door is crossed it turns into an energetic wonderland of neglected emotions, now ready to synergy, thus finding beauty in the unsightly. This is why there are mostly two kinds of people in the world: those who love Radiohead and those who don't, there is no space in between.

This song. Never gets old. I hope this song will go through generations and I hope it gets to be recognized as a master piece. Maybe this is what we need to connect to other form of life. I'm saying this because every time I listen to this song I feel something new each time, I want everyone to hear and feel. It's like a wave of emotion that doesn't stop hitting.... To everyone listing to this if it's the future or you're from the past. Enjoy this and experience.

This is so ethereal and unearthly it almost defies reasoning for me to see a few flesh and blood men pick up objects and proceed to casually; *casually* play music that sounds like it came from the Gods. You mean music sheets didn't fall off a podium in the heavens and drift down, to be found by mere mortals and recorded note for note as Reckoner??

3:00 has always been my favorite part of this song. Thom’s vocals take me to another world.

This song is so powerful. It makes you feel so many different emotions at once. Outstanding. It's one of my favorite songs by them and definitely my favorite off In Rainbows.

Way back in the day I saw Radiohead at a small venue in Pdx, Or. He reached out & grabbed our hands & if any of his magical energy transcended thru me, I feel so lucky. To see how far they've come is inspiring!
