@@Xrayrenee hey I wish you the best I want to go to community college in San Francisco like a public one and it obviously takes 4 years to become one do you have any advice for me to help me pass others in my class obviously I have to be better than others and I heard it's competitive what classes are more difficult in your opinion I mean for the first two years I will prepare for it beforehand

How long to be Technician Radiologic Technology ? Is Radiologic same as Radiology X-RAY Technician ? Did you start your job only with 2 years? Did you have Radiologic Technology as associate degree or with certificate ? Thank you for your help and for your videos.

A radiologic Technician is another term for an X-ray technician :) It takes an associates degree to be an xray tech. You apply at a community college and then take about 2 years of pre requisites like math, english and anatomy (very important in this field) then you take a test to get into the radiography program, and that usually takes a couple more years, sometimes a little extra. You do lots of hands on and get to do clinicals, take a state board exam and if you pass you are certified

@@MR-jx8dv In the US it depends on the college. But mine recommends math courses based on your major in the event you want to transfer to a 4-year college they will transfer so you don’t have to repeat the course and take longer which will likely result in dropping out because it will raise issues with financial aid, but usually college-level algebra is recommended. So math 100.

@@bleachbrains I think people are asking the total time it takes... Associate degree only takes 2 years... if you have to take 2 yrs of school and then the program is 2 plus years, that's more like a bachelor's degree 4+ yrs of schooling. What is the total length of time? If it's more than 2 years and you are not getting anything higher than an associate degree I think something is wrong.
