每次在外打包都不够吃 而且价钱又贵 我只好自己动手 也一起分享给大家这道 我喜欢吃的点心之一 萝卜糕 Carrot Cake
• 鸡肉料理 Chicken Recipe
• 蔬菜/豆腐 料理 Vegetables Re...
• 汤类 Soup
• 猪肉料理 Pork Recipe
• 饭类 粉类 面类料理 Rice/Noodle...
• 点心/小吃
• 海鲜料理 Seafood Recipe
• 蛋类料理 Egg Recipe
Ingredients (Diana Aw)
1. White raddish 300-350g, remove skin and shredded. Wash to remove the bitterness and squeeze dry
2. Dried shrimp 20g, coarsely chopped
3. Garlic 3 cloves, minced
4. Water 300ml
Batter ingredients (mix together)
1. Rice flour 250g
2. Wheat flour 60g
3. Water 300g
Seasoning
1. Salt 1tsp
2. Sugar 1tsp
3. Pepper appropriate amount
4. Chicken powder little
Method
1. Fry stir the dried shrimp till aromatic, then add in garlic and stir fry. Add in radish and stir fry for 5min under high heat till soft.
2. Add in water and seasoning and bring to boil. Simmer for 2min and off heat.
3. Add in the batter and mix well
4. Lay the container with cling wrap and coat with little oil. Transfer the mixture over and smoothen the top. Cover with cling wrap and make a few holes. Stream under high heat for 45min. (May take 1hour to stream if it’s too thick)
5. Leave to cool and put in the fridge overnight. Cut into desired size and pan fry till both sides turn golden brown
6. Serve and enjoy! 💕

I must admit Mr. Hong's fingers are pretty strong😉👍😄.. I would use the same knife 🔪 as he is using to give a good slap at the garlics or anything else's.. They worked pretty well. Not only were they all flattened at the ends but were also crushed in pieces 😂👌😅 ..

I never like 罗卜糕, sold in market in Penang 55 years ago, that looked like gold bars. Until 1 year before MCO my friend gave me their leftover 罗卜糕 that couldn't sell off in USM . It was so delicious, too bad MCO , total 3 years they didn't open their stall. So I started hunt for the recipe. Tried some, now I want to try your recipe and thanks to advise us to cut and fry them at least after 14 hrs. Ah Hong, next time try to use a plastic knife or the Plastic Dough Cutter , It is so good, nothing stick to it even when I cut any kuih too !!

2.22 我拔蒜头的方法是一手拿刀,一手拿蒜头粒,用刀切掉尾部,再用刀轻压蒜身,即可拿掉蒜皮;如此这般,刀不离手,直至剥到最后一粒。 我妈是先切完每个蒜粒的尾部,然后全部一起挨刀拍散,从中取皮。 见过有人平铺蒜粒,直接用空酒瓶碾压,从中取皮。

Yes, will definitely try making this delicious radish cake. However please do not use the shrink-wrap, cos is plastic (plastic migration to the food) and we are steaming it for 45 minutes. Steam temperature is even higher than boiling water. 🙏
