Seeing as I just performed a self-restore with the Scavenger Camp today, which only delayed the inevitable, I agree this is a good change (which I’ll now follow!)

its also very likely that this rule change was made in preparation for some of the new camps coming out in the new expansion. Maybe there are some restore camps in the expansion that became problematic during development so they wanted to open up design space by making this change? Either way, this is a healthy and intuitive change that is great for the game.

Daniel mentioned one of the main culprits for this adjustment was labor camp. A free restore but just destroying a person was causing a bit more stalling in games than initially intended. I do agree it is a great change for the game though. Thanks for watching and commenting ☺️

It is good that they changed the restore-rules. Sometimes it feels like a grind to take down the last camp.

Taking out the last camp can still be tough but this change definitely helps it from being too tedious and makes it a bit easier.

I stopped playing Radland for a year because of that night i had with my friend.Only 1 camp left for her,dont Recall if it was outpost or Labor camp,and she kept restoring her Camp,that lasted for almost 30minutes,plus she started destroying my camps😂.It was so unbalanced and unfair that i almost sold my game,so thats the best change that Daniel have done and the most justified and earned.Now i dont feel i suck in this game..😂

Glad you gave it another shot. Those scenarios didn't happen often but they definitely drug the game out too long. Be sure to look into the expansion if you haven't yet. It adds a lot of things to help keep the game at a more manageable time limit. Thank you for watching and commenting as well. I really appreciate it ☺️

We always played a camp loses ability when it’s damaged. So how can it self restore?
@universityofradlands6 ай бұрын
My friend, your games of Radlands are about to get significantly better! Only people get their abilities turned off when they are damaged. Camps can use their abilities whether they are damaged or undamaged. The only time a camp is unavailable is if you already used the ability for that turn (unless you had Vera vosh out and undamaged...but that's getting pretty deep here). So that's why camps aren't able to self restore because you still have access to the ability even if they are damaged. Hope this makes sense and helps your future games. Really appreciate you watching and commenting ☺️. Don't hesitate to ask any other questions. Stay thirsty!
