Thanks everyone who has listened and shared. I'm really glad that my story resonated with so many of you. My aim in sharing my story was to give people the hope I was given, that it is possible to recover! If anyone does want to know more about it please take up the offer of a Free discovery call from myself or a fellow MBR practitioner.

I truly believe mind-body healing is the next frontier in health and healing. It’s impact has been realized since Dr. Sarno and continues to grow in understanding. If you’re reading this and are somewhat apprehensive, you owe it to yourself to fully explore it. Great interview. Thank you both for all you do❤

So glad Helen sent Warren off for the day so we can all enjoy this wonderful interview! I loved the discussion around the awkwardness/confusion when there is energy for "fun things" but not stressful things. Also found your thoughts on boundaries and how people react to them interesting. I think someone's reaction to boundaries can help us understand who is a good fit for our lives and who isn't.

So important to find joy as a part of the recovery process! Staying in that positive mindset can be so difficult, having those activities everyday that bring you joy is such a great reminder!
@AnneAlready Жыл бұрын
You have to treat positive mindset like a full time job in my experience. Doesn't take too long before it no longer feels like a "job".

I love what I am hearing. Her story is a lot like mine. Totally relate to the feeling of being a fraud if we can do fun things but not work or exercise. I am taking this approach too of doing what is fun for me and putting what little energy I have into the hobbies I love. It’s healing. I also have named my thinking brain. Fred.

Thank you for this! Raelan, could you make a video specially about how to deal with long covid fatigue and having depressions? How to deal with having this enormous restlessness and anxiety by the same time having this terrible fatigue following depression? It's so challenging because of the fatigue and depression I am not able to feel/find joy feelings. And that's supporting the anxiety as well. Thank you Carolin

It’s called anxious depression or agitated depression. Mixed affective state. Google it. It’s quite common and not unique to long covid. In some cases wired but tired can fit too

@InsightfulHealing Жыл бұрын
So much guilt in our lives, so many "shoulds'. The "shoulds' are an indication it's coming from our thinking brain so it can help just being aware of this.

I absolutely resonate with your experience! Thank you for sharing ❤ I have had long covid but 2 years and 9 months. I have pain, tingling, numbness in my toes, neck, back , legs , head , fingers . Heavy feeling like I’m being pushed down. All my muscles will spasm, tighten. Extreme anxiety , gastritis type systems , reflux, heartburn. I also had palpitations and air hunger although it’s a lot better and less often. I used to have flu like too. The fear is real and keep us unwell 😢😢😢❤

I feel like I have applied the advice already: having many joyful times and moments in my life where I am sincerely grateful for when they happen, finding balance, reduced my fear for symptoms so much by doing many awareness/meditation exercises, yet they still happen every time. Been walking the same 10 min walk now for a year, a couple times a week, sometimes even forgetting that I have CFS, yet im always reminded after the walk by feeling depleted with sour/painful legs every time, no improvement at all after doing it for 100 times already. As if there is a buildup of waste in my legs during walking using the same pathways as lactic acid but still feels different + depleted of all energy levels.
@InsightfulHealing Жыл бұрын
I mean no disrespect with my reply but your emotional brain might want you to do something different, a different walk. Our emotional brain will let us know if it's bored, if it wants us to use our energy in different ways. As an example, we are unlikely to enjoy our favourite song as much if we listen to it every day, or at the same time every day...
