Jennifer Holiday does have an extremely powerful voice. However, she literally just yells and grunts aggressively most of the time rather than actually “singing”. Singing should be more melodic and rhythmic with a flow. Those notes she does don’t exactly exist on a music scale. Overall, she’s more of an actress than a singer.
