@@tyrellcombs3807 stop drugs DOOM and DOOM Eternal have way way better combat, Rage 2 AI are dumb AF there's no real combat it's really an easy game even at nightmare difficulty. In Doom everysingly type of ennemies have a lot more workk put into them and that makes a huge difference not only that but the movement in DOOM is also way better rage 2 makes me feel like im in slow mode. rage 2 is not a bad game, it's just a better version of mad max in fps they should have pushed the loot further imo.

@@tyrellcombs3807 Idk. I don't really compare the two since one has enemies with firearms and the other has enemies with... FIRE arms. lol But dude I do almost enjoy Rage 2 better. I love using my gun to smack grenades back at people.

This games combat is just a few steps under doom eternals. I love it

The AI is terrible, the weapons are so unbalanced that most of them just aren't worth using, and the combat doesn't have anywhere near as much depth as Doom's does. It's not a "few steps under". Doom Eternal's combat is up in the stratosphere while Rage 2's is in the dirt.

@@Thicc_Boyo lol dude, obviously doom eternals mechanics are way way deeper, im saying that in terms of variety, ability and the customization of weapons and said ability is a few steps under dooms like, fun wise and complexity wise. Im not disagreeing with you I'm just saying alot of dashing and so weapons for every situation and the only way to win a fight is to go in aggressive, like doom. Just making a comparison about video games dude settle down. Its not that serious just a misunderstanding.

I always wondered why people gave this game shit for having a boring open world but yet give mad max a pass. As a matter of fact mad maxs was worse because at least in rage 2 you could still go to different bases and fuck shit up with your guns and powers and in mad max theres literally nothing to do. Both were great though

I love mad max but this game was much better. The guns and combat are id software good and once you beat mad max there's literally nothing to do. At least in this game you can go to different bases and territories and fuck shit up and grab collectibles and skins.

Totally agree! Was enjoying the game, but once i got to the car stage and just drove around aimlessly, i shut it off and never played again. I literally played ONE time.

I played this heap after watching videos like yours and I regret it. This game was profoundly boring and lazily laid out. The guns feel good and are fun to use, but everything else falls short. And once the hover vehicle is unlocked it really turns into a chore to play the game because it just devolves into clearing icons off the map like every Ubisoft game, only worse. It was fun for the first few hours, but after getting the guns and upgrades it was a slog to finish. Good thing the main story is obscenely short. The game has no soul, the protagonist(s) is exceedingly lame, and most reviewers were right about this game from the gitgo; it's not worth playing.

They said Rage 1 was trash and that game went straight into the bargain bin when it came out. I remember because I bought it cheap back in the day and I ended up loving the game. Never beat it. The graphics and everything was amazing to me. It was like FPS Mad Max to me. I just ordered new copies of Rage 1 and 2. I didn't even know there was a part 2. The games are super cheap on eBay. New copies. Rage 2 was less than 8 bucks new.
