Like... we need Communism? That's what we need? RATM are always preaching anti-capitalism while ironically charging $100's of dollars for tickets with music they made 2 decades ago. They were heavily against th3 Bush era due to war, th3n Obama came around and war continued and they just went silent. Then Trump and then Biden... silent.

Yes sir, this is rap set to a hard rock soundtrack. Zach de la Rocha is a rapper and has done some work with Run the Jewels you may be interested in. Rage Against the Machine was the first rap-rock band and they came out of the L.A. punk scene in the early 90s. This song was on the album Evil Empire, released ’96. The red and black imagery represents the Zapatista Army of National Liberation, which is a guerrilla army that supports indigenous communities in Mexico, of which the band are big supporters of. If you decide to do more Rage you’ll see a recurring theme of red and black with the star. Sleep Now in the Fire, Guerrilla Radio, or Testify all great choices for a next listen and they all have music videos for visuals.

@leeleethebumblebee-d3z my favorite part is that the line about king and Nam is left in the movie cut (plays just as credits start rolling and then the song is edited), makes me think it's a blatant clue to what the movie is really about.

Zack is good friends with Killer Mike, and has been featured on a couple RTJ tracks, Zack also did a feature on KRS-One track. When Zack and the band parted ways for a while in the early 2000s, the band.. Tom, Brad and Tim, hooked up with Chris Cornell to form the super group Audioslave, a little bit less known is that after Audioslave the band hooked up with none other than B. Real from Cypress Hill and Chuck D. of Public Enemy to form another super group called Prophets of Rage, and did an album together, maybe two, can't remember. You should definitely check out more Rage, Wake Up and/or Take The Power Back would be my suggestions, and lyric videos on either of those, Zack drops a lot of knowledge, but it takes some getting used to, hearing specific lyrics rapping over a rock beat. Great reaction BTW ✌️💚

This song is a BANGER. I’m excited to watch you experience this. I also remember when this came out, remember my very white and conservative upbringing that kept me blind to racial disparities and issues (only white people where I lived). This song helped me look at the LA Riots through different eyes, not the narrow viewpoint that conservative news fed me, and I immediately began questioning everything. I started listening to 2Pac and NWA. The rock side of this pulled me in, the lyrics stuck in my head, and I opened my mind to things I never would have been exposed to otherwise.
