@@willhe5564 Noam is one of the most famous dissidents in the country. If there was anyone that has said "Fuck you I won't do what you tell me" the effective loudest it is Chomsky.

@@denglish5 I knew RATM was a cut above average, even 25 years ago, but never knew my fandom would be so practical too.. just funny to see how people will demonize one side or the other, not realizing the actual enemies in the shadows, or powers and principalities we face. People were fine saying "FUCK YOU, DIPSHIT" to President Bush (1 or 2), and Trump, but no dissidence for Clinton's, Obama's, or Biden's "college"... As long as totalitarianism rules, nobody is free. It has to start somewhere. It has to start sometime. What better place than here? What better time than now....? I'll stop before I'm labeled something I'm not, maybe I'll be better off purchasing & downloading "Free Radical" music before they cancel that too. 😂 Even though "Get What You Give" was mostly pop influential music.
@denglish5

@@willhe5564 you do realize they are talking against NAFTA here which was a neo liberal trade agreement. Chomsky, and by extension RATM, are against the moderate democratic candidates too. Chomsky was extremely disappointed with the banks bailout by obama. Chomsky's book on manufacturing consent is exactly against the "enemies in the shadows" as you put it. This isn't a left versus right thing. Clinton, obama, and now biden aren't being given free paces. I'll sit here and say fuck you to modern day conservatism just as much as I say fuck you to neoliberalism.

.... and millons in the bank. Its very very easy to critisize the very country that protects your freedom to speak, religion, gun rights even, and with low taxes, cheap food and gas....Its a way to be seen to be 'brave'. Say what you like about the evil empire whilst counting the wad. A musician who wishes to force others to give away their wealth, not theirs. Why doesnt he give his cash away to the people coming over the border for example? Ask Chomsky about critical race theory for example, and he said critical race theory was a myth created by the....guess who? Anythig the left does is someone elses fault, even cancel culture on campus! The result is Trump.

@@momsspaghetti4064 True. I did like some of their songs, however the bass player is moron. I dont like people who live in, and make a fortune in the country they sing about hating. Constructive critism, debate about a country is good, but that does not sell records. Guess they have few good ideas, and the country they would invisage would look like the worse parts of San Fransico now, (they blame their usual enemies for that mess too though). Instead, they should sing about how human nature is what it is, and how they dont like it. I also heard that the guitarist was very very rude to staff at a restaurant/bar after being refused entry.

But people are so easily manipulated emotionally these days that I dont have alot of hope,they look where they're told to look and feel what they're told to feel about it,but as long as they put the right filter or slogan on their social media page,then they can call everyone else an asshole and a nazi or whatever bullshit they're using that week to not actually have an adult conversation.

Solipsistic how? I would add, Solipsism was an argument allegedly from Gorgias, that we only have broken fragments of. Gorgias died over 2300 years ago. So we don't even know for sure what the real meaning and position of the argument was. If we say that the fragments that exist were in fact his ideas and they have been interpreted correctly, the meaning would be along the lines "nothing exists" and "if something exists, we cannot know anything of it".

@@danlboy2592 This isn't about Democrats vs Republicans bud. It never has been. If you don't accept both parties are completely and totally corrupt, including Trump and the Clintons, then you are part of the problem. The USMCA contains TPP provisions in it. And what do you think a wall is going to do? If you are risking travelling across harsh terrain, being raped and murders, with patrols and drones looking for you, you think a fucking wall is the thing that prevents you from crossing? One that has been shown it can be cut with a $100 saw from home depot? If Trump wanted to stop immigration, he'd target the businesses that benefit from it. But he won't. He hires undocumented immigrants. And he makes his clothing in China. He represents those businesses.
