"I'm here to kill if you don't your pill" refers to how immigrant women working were sometimes made to take birth control to make sure they didn't get pregnant and wouldn't be able to work. the whole song is about the exploitment of immigrant labor

This is a good point, as others have pointed out it could also be referring to Amphetamines or uppers, which are also sometimes forced on workers to make them more "productive." But the birth control makes sense too. I think what's most important is that he gets the point across that what ever the pill is, she will be killed if she doesn't take it.

This is my fave rage song! It’s such a joy to witness someone experiencing them for the first time! They’ve been my favourite band since I was 14 and I think as I get older I’m appreciating their lyrics and what they stand for even more! They’re even more relevant now than they have ever been! 🤘🏻

Rippin' through Demin means exactly that. She's been smuggled in on a truck, and is now working in a sweatshop, making jeans (probably) for the southern states.

It's a first hand account of a migrant making her way to the US. And all the dehumanizing bullshit that that entails. It's also a song of HER power! Also, Without a Face please, my brother

The story of a smuggled / trafficked illegal Mexican immigrant / religious woman, coming to America. She is forced to work as a slave in the sweatshops / fabric factories / (needle and thread), stripped of her culture, and eventually she kills herself, “Home” refers to that (California) is still her ancestral home... The irony being that she is crossing over the rivers of blood/bones of her ancestors that CA belonged to. Sentiment being they can’t kill her spirit. She will “regenerate”. Something like that...

If you liked this song, this theme and/or thought Zach's lyrics 🔥 a hole of sadness in your heart, check out "without a face". Pretty much same concept as this only a way better song. Also, my vote for most under rated RATM song. Even if you don't do a reaction video, you mah want to listen to it just to enjoy it.

" my job is to kill if you forget to take your pill" it is common practice for women who work in sweatshops to be forced to take birth control pills under threat of being fired bit worse.

Funny thing is this song is pretty on the nose about a Mexican woman crossing into America illegally. Its not as subliminal or metaphorical as he is making it out to be. Great reaction though.
