Telescos entire Draft class are current starters, he did a great job, it makes sense why he was kept on

Telesco is a good drafter, but so much for having GM-Head Coach alignment when Champ Kelly and Antonio Pierce were hitting it off great in 2023! Yes Telesco got Bowers - JUST ONE PLAYER - and drafted well at the Chargers, but his teams. With his construction at San Diego and Los Angeles only won just 1 playoff game for a reason despite 6 winning seasons between 2013 and most of 2023.

He built a great chargers team who basically are winning with his roster this season. DJ Glaze, Jackson Powers Johnson were both great hits this past draft as well. It’s not just one player

If I were to compare both Joe Hortiz and Tom Telesco. I definitely felt like Hortiz was a major upgrade. The draft class we just had has been phenomenal, the offseason signing have been huge for the team. On top of that, Hortiz is constantly looking for depths and signing players during the season (who also impact the roster in a positive way). Definitely something Telesco hasn't really done for the Chargers.

I get keeping Telesco, he's a good GM and a good dude. Pierce, I haven't liked him since dissed Tiki Barber for doing his Fox News gig on the side during the backhalf of his career when he was the best player in the NFL.
