@@waffleslayer5000 Sure, but the Western Allies could certainly drop thousands of tons of bombs on a city like this. Or, if we want to go to a really dark place, the Nazi's could treat Altengrad like Warsaw, and totally demolish a big chunk of the city. Alternatively, the city could be the site of a massive siege, like Stalingrad, or Leningrad, and be pounded by artillery. There's lots of ways that it could suffer. Of course, it could just as likely avoid fighting almost entirely.

You should really build the villages in the 1920s, surrounding areas, trafic, commuting are definitely some of the things that are the most interesting when going forward in time. Also some small villages could be entirely destroyed by the Second World war, and other could grow a lot while some may want to stay true to themselves, maybe further out the Bigger Altengrad area
@Akruas5 жыл бұрын
Well sure, war and after-war periods will change the villages, but right now there won't be any changes, it's not like I have super specific small village buildings from 1930's. It really doesn't matter If I build them now or later. Maybe I'll do just a couple of places right next to the city, but certainly not the whole map.

Love the video, but you need more churches, nearly everyone in the whole city would head to church each Sunday, which means every district would have a church, and there would be less and less churches as time progresses, before every new district would have a church in it as almost a requirement, but after WW2 churches would be mostly ignored in new urban planning (especially with the communist policies)
@casvermeij88095 жыл бұрын
that's what i was thinking too. When you are looking at old maps of mid-european cities like krakow, wroclaw and vienna there are a lot of churches to be seen. Also i would love to see a bigger cathedral in the lower old town. Apart from that the city is looking amazing to me!
