I've always thought that wall on the people mover was interesting. It's really only there to block the steam and smoke from the train to protect passengers on the people mover. It's also painted black on the outside to hide any dirt build up from the steam engine.

4:05 When we were there a few weeks ago, the PeopleMover kept stopping over and OVER again. After completely stopping about 12-15 times, they eventually closed the attraction for an hour or so before opening it back up. And when the attraction opened back up, it STILL kept stopping. It’s interesting to see that that is still happening… 🤔

I was at Magic Kingdom on the 21st and 25th of July and on the 25th of July I was coming out of space mountain on the people mover and then I saw a tron vehicle being tested. And yes they did have the new people mover announcements when I went.

I have been going to WDW since 1997 and I have never been on the Peoplemover. Literally every time I have been there it has been broken down. At this point, riding that attraction is a bucket list item. I am going back to the Magic Kingdom in January 2023, maybe it will be in operation then. Finger crossed. Maybe we could ride the Peoplemover AND the train. Wouldn't that be an awesome day? I will definitely be checking our your second channel. If you put into it half what you put into this one it will be great!

The new people mover narration reminds me of the old 1994 narration and the 70's narration. It's like a mash up. In the 70's the narrator's name was ORAC 1 and now its ORAC 5. I like the the new Narration.

Was there about 2 weeks ago and, while waiting in line for the Barnstormer, we saw them test running multiple Tron trains through the track, which tells me the whole coaster track must be done, and everything left to do is just the entrance walkways and train tunnel.

Keep in mind, just because the track is done doesn't mean all of the visual effects inside the show building are also done. For all we know, it might still be an empty box with a completed track.

Regarding the train tunnel, I wish it were extended farther to meet up with where the tracks go below the Space Mountain. I don't think there will be much to see from the train in that area and a century old train doesn't fit so well with the Tomorrowland theming.

The clearance for the RR tunnel seems a little low for a steam engine, I think the tunnel is going fill up with smoke too low every time the train passes through it.

They can easily vent the tunnel or use a ventilator/air extractor…

Railroad - steam engines need a lot of care, especially out of service for so long, so might be a long time before the trains are ready (hopefully they've already started there)
