Lovely! I wish we in the States didn't have the, "Out with the old, in with the new" mind set. We're always chasing after the "latest and greatest." We forget the beauty of these old locos. Good job on keeping them running!

Hi iam from India and fascinated with Trains, especially the Meter & Narrow Gauges, Also amazed to see little or No passengers aboard. But what purpose this line serves ? Seems to be very short line !! Can any one clarify ??

It is a tourist line but was built to carry slate to begin with. Passengers were catered for as the railway had four carriages and a brake van. Regarding the passengers it might be that it wasn't filmed during the peak season but was filmed maybe during the early months or later months of the year when there isn't as many trains running or passengers around. Google the Talyllyn Railway and visit the website and it will give you more info

Very droll commentary! That pub looked a bit empty, I hope the non stop train talk didn't frighten off the other customers! Has the Corbett got around to serving decent ale yet? I remember it was always best to go to Machynlleth with its rather wider choice of pubs and beers.
