That is a very important question, which is also troubling me. I think that we can only go on if we build- what Panikkar taught us- within ourselves. In my experience we can act/live, building on models like Pannikar, even if he is no longer with us. I have always been inspired by Meister Eckhart who says that there is an invisbile community, the members of which may have lived ages before us or will live ages after us. But this community exists and feeling part of this (sometimes) invisible community, makes all the difference.
