A friend made this and it's soo yummy that my mum wants me to try! Question: I want to make this with only four thicker layers instead of the many thin ones in your recipe. How long would I need to cool the thicker layers before adding the next one please? Thanks so much!
@gracioustreatz7231 Жыл бұрын
Hi dear. For each of my thin layers, it took about 5 minutes. You can chill in fridge or freezer, totally up to you. If your layers are double thickness, maybe chill for about 8 minutes. It doesn't have to be completely harden. Only the surface is set will do, because you want the layers to stick together. You can touch with your finger. If the surface is not sticking to your finger, you can already pour another layer over it. Hope this helps ☺️

Hi, I'm wondering if you remember how long you're taking for the whole process? The video is very detailed for each steps. I will try it out. Thank you.
@gracioustreatz72314 жыл бұрын
It didn't take me too long. Once you got the hang of the first layer, the rest just the same process. It took me about 1½ hour to complete the 12 layers. Please remember you'll need to get the first layer right. It has to be set and that means your agar amount is right. Some brands varies a little bit. each layer should set in fridge within 5 min. Maybe give it a try, you'll know what I mean

@gracioustreatz72316 жыл бұрын
H. Chemical smell? No way. Lol. Gelatin is the one with chemical smell. Agar is a natural plant ingredient. Of course texture wise, is not like jelly. It's totally a different thing from mousse. It's kinda an Asian delicacy. Anyway, great comment. Thanks 😊 😁

Hi there! I just became a new follower! 😊 For this recipe, may i know if i can use with the dried strips of agar2 instead? And how many strips do u suggest i use? Thanks!
@gracioustreatz72316 жыл бұрын
Hidah Rahmat. Hi there! It sounds like you are familiar with agar then. Yes, most definitely you may use the strips. In fact, the strips will be easier to set. I am glad you ask. If you are using the strips, you will only need to boil the pot of sugar syrup with it, which makes your life much easier. Hope it makes sense 😊
