Rainbows & Cutthroats | 5-23-24

Fly-fishing for native rainbow and cutthroat trout in western Oregon. I was mainly fishing streamers (sculpin patterns like Sculpzilla), but also did pretty well fishing a dry-dropper rig with a Chubby Chernobyl and a bead-head Hares ear nymph.
Streamer rig: Sage Sonic 9' 5wt / Lamson Guru reel with an SA 180 gr Spey Lite Skagit line. 5' fast sinking Airflo polyleader with flourocarbon tippet.
Dry-dropper rig: Sage Pulse 9' 4wt / Ross Evolution 2 LT reel with SA MPX WF4F line and SA 9ft 3X leader.
