@@enachescuserban1097the thing is that isn’t even the record of Abraham. The whole thing with Abraham is that he didn’t have a son with his wife until he was 100 years old and his wife was in her nineties!

I'm not a Biblical scholar, but I've never heard of that story of "Abraham". Abraham had two or three wives. His first wife Sarah/Sarai, only had her son Isaac when she was 90. Clearly a miracle, so the grandma in this story couldn't have gotten that idea from Sarah. Earlier in her life, Sarah/Sarai told Abraham to marry her servant Hagar so that Abraham could have a child. Hagar subsequently gave birth to Ishmael. There was no recorded debate about who Ishmael's father was, although Sarah and Hagar argued about their status as Abraham's wife. After Sarah's death, the now quite aged Abraham married Keuterah, although some scholars believe that Keuterah and Hagar were actually the same person. No known debates about Abraham's subsequent children. Grandmother's "Abraham" story, vaguely sounds like the David, Uriah, Bathsheeba story, although even that is garbled. Sometimes people just invent stories from the bible because they would be convenient to the point they are making.

@@radioactive1014 Usually the fabricated ones doesn't go on for this long, as in time stamp wise. Cause usually the ones making em up aren't willing to sit for years and update a fabricated story. Everything in the story also seems to make it more believable. The op doesn't deviate from their already provided facts, like they speak spanish, they latina/latino names. Like luna and marisol. They came from puerto rico. Which also is a country that celebrates quinceanera. There's no sudden inconsistency in the story is my point. The only thing I noticed was him mentioning his son in law being deployed to Afghanistan, but later this was changed to Saudi Arabia. But that could easily be for a lot of reasons. Not nessecarily a sign of fabricated story.

@TheAniSi5 ай бұрын
So this isn't actually the end of the story. Op posted more updates so i’ll go through them now. It was confirmed through Therapy (and later cousin) that Marisol was r****. OP even goes back and remembers that whenever he was over she would never be in the same room as him. She blamed herself for it. And she emotionally abused Luna because she was a constant reminder of that night. Once they all realised she was not at fault for any of this they invited Marisol to let ve in a trailer on their land. She refused but moved near to be with Luna. Marisol and Joslin did but heads a few times but soon turned amicable. Marisol eventually fell in love with Joslin’s older brother. And they are getting married. Joslin’s abusive ex then came back. Op describes her as a nervous wreck when he tried to talk to her so Op punched him. Later he got into fight with Roberto who sent abusive ex and his friend to the hospital. No charges were filed. Later Cousin's 6-month-pregnant fiance came to the shop pleading with OP to get tested because Cousin was dying of leukaemia and he might be a suitable bone transplant patient. OP said no and that she and her child were better off without him. She slapped him and said that he confessed to all his crimes to her. Cousin tried sending a lot of letters to OP and Luna but they burned them all except one. OP read it and to his surprise Cousin confessed to all his sins and asked OP not to save him. He deserved this for what he did. OP eventually flies out to get tested he is a match. He goes to visit cousin who is dying in bed. He and doctors confirmed that unfortunately it was too late for the procedure to work. Fiance took off with all of their money. Cousin couldn't blame her and that he deserved it. OP then visits him at a later date. Says that if he wasn't dying then he'd kill him. Cousin laughs says he wouldn't doubt it. They shared a laugh together an cousin then took a nap but never woke up. OP was the only person in attendance and the funeral. While OP hated him. He also couldn't erase their childhood and all the happy memories they had together.

They had waited and waited, and while getting impatient, his wife suggests that he have a baby with his handmaid, so he did, (Ishmel) and years later, God had kept his promise. Sarah(his wife) had a baby at around 90 years old (Isaac) Abraham was 100 years old. While there was a war, Sarah did not have a child while he was away💀💀💀 .

31:36 - "Luna is O Positive, I'm AB negative" Just an FYI to anyone who happens to read this. I am O positive like my mom and brother, but my dad was also AB negative like OP. Normally it would be impossible for an AB negative to have an O child. There is a condition known as the Bombay (named after the city it was first discovered) Phenotype. While rare and complicated to explain, it's an antigen deficiency, 1 in 1 million people have it. So standard blood type charts from parent to child are not 100% complete with the information they showed us in 7th grade biology.

My brain has essentially been hardwired to think every cheater is a bad person.. but that ending showed me the error in my way. Because if the therapist's theory is true, she's not a cheater at all. Marisol might've been the biggest victim of this story for sure. She losts everything and was blamed for what happened to her, only reinforcing her idea of being the bad person. We don't know what truly happened to her but for that reason alone we must listen to every story through before jumping to conclusions.
@TheSergio10215 ай бұрын
IF the therapist's theory is true. But it could not be. The same bias you admit to having about all cheaters being at fault could also being applied to believing all claims of rape are valid. The rape theory was only brought up YEARS after the fact from someone who wasnt there when it happened. The way the ex acted until OP found out and even some time after lines up with typical cheating behavior. Also find it really strange that someone would try to connect their daughter with their rapist even though she was trying to convince Luna that OP was her dad. No, it just seems like Marisol just broke under the consequences of her actions.

latest updates: 1. It has been confirmed that Marisol was a r*pe victim. OP's grandma passed away and cousin showed up to the funeral unannounced, drunk and mocking OP saying he was responsible for his life getting better and Luna and Joslin beat the hell out of him, OP and Son-in-law wanting to do the same. thankfully, everything turned out fine in the end and Marisol was forgiven and they all became a happy family with her included in it. Joslin and Marisol ended up getting along well and there was no dramas between them. 2. Joslin's ex came back and traumatized her thinking he will do something to her but she was protected by OP and Roberto. In the end, he understood to never mess with OP and his family ever again. Luna and Roberto are planning to move to Yuma and OP wants Luna to stay longer but she promised she will visit as often as possible. Op now has 2 bio kids and another one coming and Luna had another child and Marisol got together with Joslin's brother and he proposed to her relatively early in their relationship. 3. Cousin had a fiancée with a new kid but he had leukemia. He sent letters to OP telling him about it and told him to not help him. Fiancée demanded OP and Luna help him by donating bone narrow but they initially refused and she was angry with it. However, OP decided to at last go ahead and donate but the cousin refused and told OP to let him pass away. Fiancée ran away with everything and cousin died a while later and that made OP's anger leave him after all this time. Overall the story has a happy ending with the bad guys getting what they deserved and the truth fully coming out.

He should have told the new wife that he refuses to give them another chance and that he was happy when they were cut from his life maybe she would have understood. Instead, he beat people up and never communicates and the wife and grandmother keeps pushing this. Easily half of his story would have been avoided if he talked. I'd personnaly would have stopped any kind of relations to them. But in the end he did better and better himself so he's awesome

You're back ...The One Punch Cousin Man
@Stefan-105 ай бұрын
Honestly man, i dont know to feel bad for marisol or not. The pressure must have killed her, rped (or lack of judgement) and she only had 1 chance. Either be with the cousin which she didnt like or be with OP and lie that the kid was his. She made a mistake lying for sure, and i totally understand OP for leaving, but damn i feel bad for marisol. Completely stuck, seems like she truly loved OP and it all got fucked by the cousin Also i find it funny how OP KO's the cousin on sight. I can already picture it haha

Best part of this story is how the former low-life and gangmember overcame all the struggles and became a good man and also the part where his former wife descended into madness. Both of those examples illustrate how one can rise from hell if one doesn't allow all the tragedy and evil destroy him and how another lets it get in and falls down to a black whole. To me there's a lesson in this story - even if all is going to hell, have faith and resilience. Don't let it make you bitter.

Why is it that when a man finds out a child isn't his and no longer wants a part of raising them, people act like HE is the bad person? as if that wouldn't skew anybodys perception of a child. This breaks my heart for them and the kid. Of course it isn't ever the kids fault the mom cheated, but I don't blame the dads in this situation

This man had a hard start at life and became a gang banger. But he blossomed into a real man that knew more humanity than most who had an easier life. Bless him. I hope his family heals.

I had a sinking feeling when OP described Luna's conception, but hearing it at the end just made it all worse. It all read as a "man of the cloth" taking advantage of a churchgoing woman. The idea that he may have actually forced himself on her, then spent years ruining all of their lives - and will get away with it - is disgusting. I really hope that isn't the case and, regardless, that they all recover.😮

Listening to this a second time is harder than the first cause all the 'Hell yeah!' cathartic moments don't hit at all. This was a sad story already and now it's even worse

If that was really a rape, why is it marisol who seems to get the harshest punishment? Everyone seems to have moved on, even lunas condition is starting to improve.

Wow, what a story, so many twists. And the last one the psychologist mentions... If OP's wife was r*ped and felt too much shame to reveal the truth, that is not cheating, just a poor decision on her part. I feel sorry for her. I hope OP and his new wife are able to bring her back from her psychosis and she can move on.

I was going to say that a really sad part of all of this is that Marisol before the divorce stuff only made two actual mistakes: letting herself be manipulated by his cousin, and not telling him about that one time mistake and the truth. It seemed obvious that it was only once and she really did love him and defend him at every opportunity, and try and made her daughter see reason with him, but she couldn't, because she had also been manipulated by the cousin. So hearing the end of the story and how that "one time" might've even been rape and not even her making that mistake is absolutely devastating. Their whole family was torn apart by one evil man.

Bruh… This man? This man right here? Dude has been through more in the implied time frame of 5 years than I think I will ever see in my life. Good on him for straightening out his life at the start, good on him for not bending to Marisol’s pleas to reconcile, good on him for moving on with the real MVP here Joselin, and good on him for realizing he hurt Luna (someone who realized she fucked up and actually loved her dad only for a second later to see all her texts posted at her party) and rebuilt the relationship. Not gonna lie, this man is the gold standard for bouncing back from a shitty situation.
