behind your house remove part of the terrace that covers it so the dirt does not push on it. It will be a little half pipe shape sitting on it's side so you do not lose the power of that terrace. with this you get to walk behind your house.

Industrious is putting it mildly. This barn is a literal drop in a giant bucket to the millions of antiquities there. Imagine what it was like designing/building the Colosseum alone with zero modern tools and it's still standing, then add all the Roman antiquities still standing all over Europe, Middle East, North Africa. #1 in Unesco WH sites and history achievements.

My dad is now on to his eternal life, and this brought back memories that filled my heart. He use to use the orange Home Depot pencil. Every time I go in there I have to hold one . Your daughters will one day remember this with such fondness. This for sure has brought me back and as I write to you with tear filled eyes I’m beyond grateful my dad and mom blessed us so much we can now look back with so much appreciation.

OMG that is an incredible amount of effort and work. You are going to have some serious muscles built up after all that digging and lifting. I can't wait to see the finished cottage. What an incredible accomplishment, and having your daughters working along side you both is such a wonderful education/experience for them too. Kudos to you all.

Loved this to bits. Great restoration, great scenery, great family. The church bell and the goats were the icing on the cake.

What a beautiful transformation from the first episode… it truly is a labor of love, your girls are so fortunate that they have parents like you to guide and teach them that not everyone plays on their phones all day long. It’s very refreshing to see them engaging in outdoor activities and helping you with your homestead projects. I bet that you all sleep very well every night… your hard work is paying off your home is really coming along.. until the next video stay safe and God Bless ❤️🙏🏼❤️

This is fascinating, thank you for sharing. It is like an archeological dig, the craftsmanship to originally build that barn is incredible! I love that the renovation is by hands too. Your family is blessed. Good luck and good health to you! I hope Discovery or History picks this up and makes a movie out of it!

What a perfect location?!! 👍 I am sure the locals are taking an interest too. I love that you understand the importance of involving your children in the tasks too. This is what makes a home a home. And Chloe and her sister are so animated in helping with the work. Love them!! 💗💗

I was fortunate enough to live with my parents in Germany during the mid-1970s when I was a teenager. And one of my favorite memories is of the church bells ringing at all hours of the day. There were quite a few churches in our area and when they’re all going off at once, it’s just magical. Good luck with your renovation and your choice of location. 👏👏👏

Very interesting. Now I'm hooked on this. My partner is from Greece. As a teenager, he lived in the mountains of Greece in a small village, now abandoned, and herded goats. I showed him the goats going by and he loved it!! Bona fortuna to you and your family.

I love the beautiful family and scenery and I found the sound of the work, children, birds, church bells, goat bells and cuckoo clocks therapeutic. Often less is more, and the minimal music was a plus for me. Thanks - I think I'll replay and listen without watching. Best to you guys - what a great experience.
