I bought a vintage Coach at the Goodwill last week. I see them all the time. This one was marked up to $50 ($40 with coupon), but resells for $90. It was a keeper anyway.

The Goodwill and other thrifts in my area wouldnt even know to mark up a vintage Coach..It would either go right buy them, or not marked high..They are to busy marking up very damaged and used purses but have all over logo. I'm talking about the ones that you might be able to sell for 20 bucks the stores are trying to get 35-75

I literally just seen a Coach purse in a Goodwill today. I do not know enough about those high end brands to even make that purchase, but they are still in Goodwill stores. Granted, they might not be in that person’s area because in my town, one of the Goodwill stores obviously has people going through everything in the back and taking out all band tees and other more expensive vintage tees. We would find them pretty regularly and then starting about 4 months ago, you’ll be lucky to find a mid vintage tee…. They also do the online auctions via that store

When a seller, or a couple sellers price an item way below whats it's actually worth, and I have one that I want to list for a higher amount, sometimes I will buy the lower prices one(s)and sell them all for the higher price. For example, I have an item that is worth $80, but on eBay a seller has one priced at $35, and all of others listed are priced for $80 and up. I will buy the $35 one and sell it and the one I already have for $75-80. I understand that a lot of sellers are desperate for sales these days, but when they price items way below market value, it brings down the market price for everybody else trying to sell that same item.

Ohhh that tea about the goodwill bags! 😂 My local goodwill still has a case but they barely keep anything in it! The goodwills in maryland all suck now. But Delaware, which is about a 1-2 hour drive away to a couple of great goodwills 👀(my bestie moved to PA, so i go noth and she goes south, we'll get lunch and go thrifting). I don't usually need anything, but sometimes I'll find a CD to add to my car's collection or a book I'd like to read. Back in the day I used to find great stuff in my locak one tho, a gucci scarf NIP with tags and was legit for $7 after the student discount. An ereader I used for YEARS. Countless video games. A silk diane von fursteburg blouse I wore until i gained a bit too much weight 😅 the list goes on. I miss the old goodwill.

When I used to live in Chicago there are the Village Discount stores. It's owned by Indians and the worst customer service, but I was always coming with Gucci, Pucci, etc. Their stores are huge and were priced great. Every day different color on sale and I miss the messy bargain. If you ever going to be in Chicago, you definitely should stop by.there. I see Coach bags at the Salvation Army and Goodwill all the time. This person making those comments has no idea! Question: do you use Ebay background cut or some other tool? That dipstick does know that not every Goodwill is ran the same way. You can find things that "slip through the cracks" . either they don't know it is a great brand or they don't care and just want to blow through the inventory sitting in the back.

Goodwill for us...has been the worst store for at least 10 years.. and they rarely have anything good in our area.. they do have an online auction site and eBay site at least they used to.. they look items up and sell for full price... so ya..they get donated items for free and they place all the good stuff in auctions leaving very little good stuff inside the store.. when you do find something I feel it slipped through the cracks. 😂. you cant say EVER or NEVER in this industry of course its possible to get a great designer bag..

Pay to learn 😅😅. I went and bought about 40 vintage mugs. It didn't take long to figure out what sells. I did the same with shoes and hats. Just buy low. Use the resources to research items.
