@@drewthompson7457 No but it makes too much sense NOT to produce the Stout or something similar. The auto industry is like most others and copy their competitors if there is a market. They can use the existing architecture…. TNGA is speculated and specifically GA-K.

Give Ram a small truck that competes with the Tacoma and Colorado 4x4 and not a wantta be but a serious contender in the small 4x4 market with Rams new inline 6 and people will buy Rams again. Its not rocket science.

If they made a compact truck like this with a 6ft bed for $20k, it would sell like CRAZY. Maybe even with an ext cab too. Within a couple years they would be on top of the compact truck market and then they could slowly start raising the price as they wanted. But yea, RAM could do wicked midsized truck, I'd love to see a new n/a V6 Dakota, with a TRX version with a slightly toned down Hurricane inline 6.

@@blairbeaumont Agreed. A Dakota with a radical off road package like the TRX with the inline 6 would be nice but they would ruin it and put a turbo 4 in it.

@Kawasaki750H2stroke yep guaranteed they'd stick a turbo 4 in it. They could do so well if they listened to what people want. A tuned down Hurricane 6 would be amazing, and wouldn't step on the heel of rams towing and hauling numbers. But maybe they know a lot of people would go for the smaller truck, and I imagine they make more selling the 1/2 tons and up.

The other RAM trucks are about 35-40% higher costs than they should be. They have gone up in pricing the most, by far, the past 10 years.... Dodge will be bankrupt, bought out, or rescued by the government soon enough, their lots are overflowing and this cheap truck won't save them. RIP
