Amazing, thank you .. but I just wanted to note one thing that I kinda struggled with for anyone else who also got confused. When you calculated the bandwidth for DDR-333 on 11:14 I was confused because from my understanding it should be further multiplied by 2 as twice the data is transmitted and according to a 333MHz it should be 333 * 8 * 2 but according to wikipedia the DDR-333 has half the clock rate ( 166MHz ) and not 333 MHz .. 333 is the transfer rate. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR_SDRAM

Great video thank you. What were the technical achievements that enabled the performance boosts from DDR to DDR2, DDR2 to DDR3, and DDR3 to 4? Was it just transistor count? Also, I haven't looked through your playlists yet, but I'd like to see a video on what's happening within the module itself. How exactly are the ones and zeros stored on the chip? What is the structure of the circuits that store the bits? How does the system "know" where to store the bits moved from the hard drive to RAM and how does the processor know where to go within the RAM module to get the program it needs to run?
