4K・ 【4K】Walking to Sendai castle(!?!?) and Sendai station

Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
After the ferry to cats island was cancelled, I went to Sendai. I hoped to visit the Sendai castle. Well, it was marked as Sendai castle on the map and road signs also were telling about Sendai castle. But...
After that I went to Sendai station. On the way to the... castle I heard some music, I found the source, that was Yosakoi festival in West park, but I got there too late. I also found nice market street which brought me directly to the station.

I went this path with my girlfriend in 2019, she's from 杜せきのした( morisekinoshita). It's amazing to relive the memories of that evening. I really loved time we spent in Sendai and it was a very nice break from Tokyo. When Japan opens up again we will go together to Sendai again. My profile picture is taken from 松島 - Matsushima, a place i highly recommend people visiting too, It's a short trip from Sendai. A really magical place. Thank you for reliving my memories with this lovely video!

今回も素敵な動画を届けてくださいまして、どうもありがとうございます！ 天守閣(Tenshu-kaku)はもう柱(Pillar)の跡しか残っていないようですね。 頂上の●-●-●-・・みたいな地面の場所、そこが天守閣が建っていた場所ですね。 日本の山城というのは、ふもとから石垣、そして天守閣までをまとめて「城」としているのが特徴です。 攻め込まれにくくするためです。 息を切らして急な坂を頂上まで攻め登ったら、体力満タンの守衛兵が待っているという寸法ですね。

Also, btw, Sendai castle isn't really a castle since it was destroyed during WW2 and never rebuilt properly, but the famous Date Masamune, the One-Eyed Dragon, statue is there (kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaW2nKlrYrN5e68) and you can get a good view of Sendai city from there. It was just up that hill you could see from the International Center at the beginning of the video.

Started out with te music of the crows. LOL Tough climb, I would have not made it or made many many edits. We have a "National Battlefield" nearby that's a flagpole, two cannon and 1/3 acre of land. Just couldn't let that little older lady beat you down those steps LOL .... That shot of the city with the rail way, had Kudzu in it (Broad leaf vine). Kudzu was imported from Japan to the South US and it is everywhere now. Great walk. Thanks

Hi Rambalac, I have a video request, it is to set up your camera somewhere with a view of the train lines including Shinkansen, as well as people walking by in the distance, and do a lengthy video of just that scene. That is my idea and would be incredibly appreciated. A channel I loved that streamed this type of thing recently stopped streaming, I miss it!
