Lilli Rose I’m sorry, but having a wedding does not excuse this behaviour, and if you think it does, I worry for anybody who works to make your future wedding happen. These people are attending as bridesmaids out of their love for the bride, and the goodness of their hearts, and yet they’re being pushed to tears and disrespected as a sort of goal for the groom. As this man says, he fully intends to keep treating them like this long after the wedding is over. If there was someone in my life who was constantly trying to find ways to make me cry, regardless of how he did it, or whether or not he succeeded, I’d personally cut them out to protect my own mental health. I don’t see how you could justify his behaviour. Having a wedding is no excuse for purposefully upsetting the people who are helping you to make it happen.

He annoyed the bride, held up the consultation, purposefully set out to annoy the bridesmaids, and disrespected their kindness. In the end, even the bride wanted him to stop. He didn’t want them to wear any of those dresses, and neither did the bride. The bridesmaids knew this. They knew that they were being forced into the situation for no other reason than to cause them embarrassment, and that is unfair.

Actually I'm really shocked at what the consultant said about how the groom is not the main focus, in general, ever. The day is about the union of TWO people, not like a birthday where the focus is one person!! I think this idea is highly outdated and sexist towards men denying that they can be of equal focus in their own wedding!!! He does deserve half the attention. The day wouldn't happen without him!
