Hey thanks for the video. really helpful! Something to note about these cheap 3dtouch clone variants is that the pinout and coloring of the cables they come with are not consistent. On the ones I bought I had to swap the pinout around to make it work. (easily done with pin jumper cables to figure out what's wrong).

Num = number. Delay= wait time in milliseconds.

There's a maximum of four, but most people use only one. There's a discord link on my KZbin channel for communication. I don't use email.

Hi Mine Works it does A self test when start up and is can deploy and stof but when is home my printer it crashes in the bed bevond the sensor is not sendig A signal that it is there.can you help? One more problem my lcd is not with the psu only Whit the pc. Thx

Try using Marlin firmware 1.1.9 and let me know if you see the same issue.

Hi Edward many thanks for your excellent videos about the Ramps 1.4. I am just wondering, how I can connect a 3dTouch, a mechanical filament runout sensor, a board cooling fan and two additional fans for the hotend at once? WIll this be possible? May you please point me to a recource where I can find out the way how to wire thew board and configure the firmware?

Hi Edward, I am using ramps 1.4 and 3d touch v3.0 with marlin 2.0 bugfix. 3d touch is showing "open" even it is triggered. Please help me out.

Thank you Edward for suggesting. But I have added pulldown resistor b/w servo signal pin and ground. B'coz servo indicator (blue led) on 3d touch was always on. Now it's working fine.

Hi, im thinking on automating my printer callibration system, and in this video its the first time i see this device and it seems to work pretty well, So: would you recommend this type of device or an inductive one? in terms of setupping this seems to be easyer than the other type.. can You please make the 3d touch MKS L Gen tutorial. cannot get it to work. The stove and retract works fine but when i send M119 its always tiggered, and nothing happen when i press home Z axes.

When I apply 3d touch, the Arduino Mega 2560's regulator burns out. Is there a workaround?

Replace the Arduino MEGA and RAMPS 1.4, otherwise you're going to not have much to work with.

Which version of the Marlin firmware are you using? What's occuring when it's not working?

@@EdwardBraiman I use Skynet version 2.3.2. When i start the printer the 3dtouch starts his self test but dont change the z resault with Gcode m119 if its up or down. I use a moddified version of an anet printer with the ramps 1.4 board. Greetings

@@mathias1g Maybe my tutorial needs a little clarification, the Firmware being Marlin version 1.1.8 needs to be modified to use the 3d Touch. If you're using something outside the scope of my tutorial, I'm not sure I can be of help. The Gcodes are designed to work with Marlin firmware. @@EdwardBraiman i thought marlin and skynet are the same firmware in 99% ? Your configuration file looks very similar to my firmware so i thought your tutorial fits. Today i figured out that my ramps only deliver 1,3Volts on the Servo pin. I researched and found out that many ramps 1.4 from china has this issue with the voltage. I will install an step down voltage modul so my sensor get the 5 volts it needs. I will update you if it works. Maybe my board is s.h.i.t. and your tutorial works fine with marlin and skynet :)
