1981 ഇൽ ഞാനും എൻ്റെ സുഹൃത്ത് സതീഷ് വൈദ്യ നാഥനും( ഇദ്യേഹം അന്ന്,തമിഴ് വാരിക ചാവി യുടെ പത്രാധിപർ) ചേർന്ന് കോടമ്പാക്കം കറഗി. അന്ന് രാമുവിൻ്റെ റൂമിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ പോയിരുന്നു.അദ്യേഹത്തെ കണ്ട് കുറെ സമയം സംസാരിച്ചു.ഈ സമയം പ്രേം നസീറിൻ്റെ മകൻ ഷാനവാസ് കോടമ്പാക്കം ബ്രിഡ്ജിൻ്റെ അടിയിൽ ഒരു outdoor unit ഇട്ട് ഇരിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.അവിടെയും ഞങ്ങൾ പോയി ഷാ നുവിനെയും കണ്ട് സംസാരിച്ചു.
