im starting to learn bass with the fingers, is it easier using pick?

not necessarily. it always depends on whats more comfortable for you. both are valid techniques that require some practice to get down right :) you also get different kinds of tone wether you use a pick or your fingers. with the pick its usually more agressive, which would fit for this kind of music in my opinion. but don't let anybody tell you how to play, and most importantly keep on practicing!😎
