Scary at the time for those of us worried about you all. Nature is showing its fury at us beings for not taking the care of it that we should have, some countries more guilty than others sadly. Nice video. Brush maintenance and planting fire resistant plants along your perimeter can reduce the risk. Frustrating start to your new home. I concure with the metal roof suggestion but they are very expensive - something to budget for in the future.

This must’ve been filmed a week or 2 ago? It’s still warm here in Oregon, but no way near 105 temp right now. My husband works in the woods and they were shut down about 2 weeks ago due to fire danger and extreme heat. The fire level was at a level 4 EXTREME, but then it dropped to a Level 3 (now it’s at level 2 MODERATE) it has cooled down considerably, THANK GOD! Start watering down your property including your house and roof. A man in the Maui fire, watered down his land and house and when the fire raged through, his house was the only one standing. Hopefully, the fire won't reach you, but you must be prepared. I agree, you need to pack your bus and be prepared to take off if you are ordered to evacuate. I am praying that the fire does not reach your guys, but please be prepared to run if needed. Please everyone, say some prayers for our friends that could possibly be affected by this tragic fire.
