So cool to see it this far. Your builds are the gold standard for these swapps.

Man, I was doubtful about the turn signals as you described them, but I was blown away by how they actually look. Bravo!

Wish I did not have to resort to this but I am not cutting into this wiring harness. Way too many bells and whistles on this ride.

Steve, I love the idea that you did with the turn signals. Very ingenious! My god, it didn’t feel like a year and a half on this build! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, absolutely amazing work!!

Try locking the doors and let it sit over night, a lot of newer cars use the lock function as a trigger for the computer to reset.
@SteveMirabelli4 ай бұрын
I will give that a try. Thanks.

Steve I have that problem when installing a rear camera to a mini Cooper. I tested many times and finally got it working by adding a water proof 8V / 40V to 12V 3A 36W Step Up DC/DC Power Converter Regulator YU from eBay. I connected to the reverse signal and that was it. And I was having the same message on the display as you have. Hopefully this gives you an idea, good luck.

All ideas are welcome but it all worked before I took it apart so we shall see.

Hope your camera comes back. Did you disconnect the battery since you put those plugs back in the screen? If not, maybe disconnect the battery for a day. The camera software may not have seen a connection to the screen without the plugs being in when powered up.
@SteveMirabelli4 ай бұрын
Yeah. I did everything the internet had to offer and then some and nothing. I now have to find somebody with a scanner that can see if there is a hard code in the body control module. May end up being a dealer thing. Still getting a blue screen.
