Half either dont hunt or hunt from the truck only! Lol personally I've missed some extremely easy shot in my 20 years of chasing whitetail and turkey and over all those years I've learned alot with mountians more to learn I'm sure. Everyone forgets stuff, misses and does boneheaded things no doubt about it .

@@SnaggedOnBottom Ignore the inexperienced comments and don't let their opinions bring you down. Long-time audiences of this channel know your teams' work ethic and know you have the smarts to make good, safe decisions. You were right when you said, "If that was me over there, I wouldn't want them to come help in a reverse scenario." That was the right decision - those boys had the ability and technology on hand to get it done, including YOUR headlamps you let them borrow! It doesn't take more than 2 guys to pack out a fully deboned deer a few miles anyway. Good hunt, too! I like the new video edit decisions to show everything on the hunt, whether its good or bad or mistakes - everything that has happened to us all in tough hunts. Love it... keep up the good work team!

One of the things I like about watching Randy and the crew is they show the real hunt. They could edit out everything "human" about the process but they are out there trying to encourage us to get out there. Good job Michael. Glad you didn't hurt anything in the fall. Very well edited, stopping the music like that. Reminds us we are all human.

It was a great hunt and those guys did a great job filming it, but if ppl can't comment on how much these last three videos don't represent the kind of hunters we enjoy watching then this channel is headed the wrong way

@@archangel19 Comment, we want freedom of expression. No one is telling you what to say, just be respectful and a good ambassador for our community. Turnarounders Idaho is being a jerk when he says, "Mike is lazy as fuck..." Mike's video is just more variety for all of us, if you don't like it, don't watch it. When Randy posts his videos, which he will, watch those instead. If this still doesn't satisfy you, then leave. BTW, what's with this "we enjoy" crap. As of this writing, video number 3 had 30,000 views and 1000 likes vs 40 unlikes. Seems to me that your understanding of what "we" like is a little confused.

Michael Parente this was a awesome hunt. And a great buck harvested. If you don't mind me chiming in. In respect to being a fellow mountain hunter of Colorado. And Army veteran with a mouth of a Soldier. I think for the hunting community we all know the shenanigans that go on at camp. And majority of hunters have their moments plus choice of words. But for the neutral person that doesn't hunt or for the far left that don't agree with our culture, when a video or picture becomes public, the whole world can see it. Just like our recent wolf partition that passed. We have to caddy for the person that is far left. We need to show the world our professional, ethical, and knowledge based public perception. Cussing a lot, body language, and language use can hurt the things we are participating in to protect.

Yep the whole burn area by Ashland Mt. use to be GREAT hunting for mule deer. But it has REALLY gone down hill as the mule deer have nowhere to hide now that there are very few live trees. They all get shot as soon as they leave the private/ protected area's. Last year I passed up a 3x2 and it ran over a hill to be shot by an out of state hunter. Just down the ridge another hunter was tagging a 2x2. It was that bad for quality of game. We glassed and walked a ton for 3 days and never found a decent 4x4 mule deer.
