I'm 37 years old so I can honestly say my first exposure to Randy Newman's music was when the first Toy Story came out. I've been a fan ever since. Randy still remains one of the few musicians whom I can really feel in my soul when I hear any of his music.

Brian Nealon This is not the same redhead from _I Love LA_ . She is a nice copy, but _Land Of Dreams_ was 10 years after _I Love LA_ video from the _Trouble In Paradise_ album. Laura Howard was in the 1983 video for _I Love LA_ . She is now married and living 1000 miles or so from Los Angeles. This actress may be the same actress in the video for _Falling In Love_ , but I do not know this new actress' name. I discovered Randy in his 1970 Album "12 Songs." As an English major, I "got" the album's simple cover photo of two chairs in somebody's backyard: a big rocking chair and a little child's chair. Of course! William Blake's "Songs of Innocence and Experience." Some of the Experience songs were pretty brutal; the Innocence one's sweet and dreamy.

So true. When my caller ID shows that a telemarketer is calling, I cue up this song, then answer the phone. I play the song without saying a word. They usually hang up after less than a minute, and I get far fewer telemarketing calls now.
