Because of the way X's matchmaking works, sessions like this just wind up with "I see the same players 12 times", and in a VOD like this? I can't help but wanna track the stories. Shoutouts to LAZULI* on Splash and あ on Tetras, they were crushin' it. ALSO shoutouts to 49:59 where you die to a Squiffer and say that there's a scary Squiffer in the lobby... even though the one on your team is _definitely_ ten times scarier.

i'm fine with wail because, sure, global and auto lock on, but it can't one shot like missile, and it's not like stingray, so it can't be stupidly accurate. it also only locks onto 3 ppl, and i think that a special that can potentially move an oppressive backline out of position for a few seconds it's really good, it's not like the lasers will kill them all the way from a across the map, unless the player is dense enough to somehow not realize they are being swiss cheese'd by wail from the other side of museum or flaunder edit: Evidence #1 1:00:00

My idea of how to buff Kraken would be to bring back the interactions it had with swim speed up in Splatoon 1. That way, when a player grabs the Tacticooler and then becomes a Kraken, that Kraken would move faster than a normal one. This means that instead of Kraken being hard countered/invalidated by cooler, it now has synergy with it. Of course, none of this would change non cooler interactions in any way. (unless the Kraken user stacks a bunch of swim speed up, which isnt really optimal, but could be a fun set for casual play.)
