Nice video. Another trick to get stubborn pistons out if you don't have an air compressor is to use a grease gun and wash out grease with solvent later.

Sometimes leaving the caliper connected to the car so you can pump the pistons out before disconnecting the pipes is a good idea. Clamping the freest pistons. But of a faff especially with 4 piston ones. You can get new rangey calipers for about 60-70 quid i wonder if they are any good .

not keen on the new pattern callipers, had a pair leak on me after a very short period of time. Now I send OE callipers complete off to Biggred to refurbish for me

Very informative video. Is there any risk in separating the two halves of the caliper? The manual doesn't recommend doing so but I don't get how can you change the cilinders if you don't do that.

keep the face clean, and replace the o-ring with the correct item between the two halves and you should be fine. Now a days I don't bother and send OE units off to BIGGred for refurbishment.
