Well, I would be quite reluctant to do it. When I take over the mint, then I probably would, lol. But you are absolutely right. Not many would, but if it wasn't off- road capable, they won't buy it. It's more for the bragging rights.

its the heritage of the brand.. they just want to show that despite building an expensive and luxurious vehicle, they have not forgotten their off-roading roots. Don't forget, the first range rovers, also a tool of the rich land owner or farmer had exceptional off-roading ability. This is the appeal of owning a range rover.. same like not every lamborghini owner is going to drive at 300km/h on the road, but they know it can.

Performance of vehicles should also be graded by reliability and review of long term maintenance cost .. many vehicles are money pits after owning fir just few year and worse is horrendous depreciation value 😅
