RPM to me did what Super Sentai wanted to achieve with Ohranger if it weren't for the last minute changes due to the violent acts in Japan back then.

Personally, I loved Go-onger and it was the third ever Sentai series I watched all the way through. I saw Gokaiger first since it was an anniversary season and I watched it around the same time as power rangers was celebrating it's 20th anniversary. Then I watched Dairanger next which I really liked and it was neat seeing what Japan did originally with the material before it became MMPR S2 and getting to finally see the other Dairanger costumes in action. I don't remember why I picked Go-onger as my third series to watch but I had no trouble watching it through to the end. It may have helped that it was a more light-hearted season after the far more serious Dairanger. And after completing Go-onger I watched another serious season and one of my favorites, Jetman.

Back when RPM was airing I wanted to watch it but I was too busy with work. In the years since I became a Sentai fan and was amazed just how different RPM was from Go Onger. I might borrow my brother's RPM dvds to get a full picture. He's not into Sentai but he does respect it as the source of the Power Rangers that inspired him when he was little.

Yeah, it really is crazy, and impressive how PR was able to take a mostly EXTREMELY whacky Sentai season with talking animal vehicles, and stupidity all over the place, and transform it into a serious, post apocalyptic world, yet still kept it quirky when it needed to be (for the most part)! And I think that's one of the reasons why we all love RPM so much because it's nearly the complete opposite to Go-Onger! They even managed to make all the weird animal vehicles with blinkable eyes work flawlessly in the RPM universe! It is kinda disappointing that Gem, and Gemma's story weren't quite as good as the Go-On Wings's story, which is pretty ironic especially when Ziggy, and Dillon were handled much better than Hanto, and Gunpei, and the Go-Onger villains were much more prevalent compared to the RPM villains where most of them were completely forgotten about, but overall, even though I do enjoy both seasons, I'm still gonna go with RPM being the better season! I think even if they did allow the Monsters to speak, and have personalities like every PR, and Sentai season, as well as originally in Go-Onger, it still could've been an overall serious season, but I do like the approach of not having them talk as it does make them more unique, and ties in more with Venjix's character! I could only imagine a Go-Onger, and RPM crossover where the Go-Ongers are stunned with there being an apocalyptic world, as well as the RPM Rangers speechless beyond belief that Zords from Go-Onger actually talk! Excellent video once again! I think you could do a Mystic Force VS Magiranger video at some point!

I always say it's best to watch both PR and SS. They might be similar and they're different experiences.

It really depends on the PR season. There are for instance where the PR season is on equal grounds with Sentai in terms of quality (eg. MMPR/Zyuranger, In Space/Megaranger, Dino Thunder/Abaranger) and there are the ones where they really flop like Samurai VS Shinkenger and Super Megaforce VS Gokaiger.

@@RockstarRomania I agree with that, even bad sentai seasons are ok at least and have some good moments but bad power rangers seasons like ninja steel are almost unwatchable.

​@@DreamMarkoI do love however when the writers get their freedom to do something different from the Sentai season, which arguably helps in making the PR season feel like a show of its own instead of being just an Super Sentai adaptation. Like In Space, it was so awesome that they went with the space theme instead of the MMPR-eque high school setting of Megaranger, or when Lost Galaxy took a radical shift from Gingaman and acted more like an extension of In Space. These were so amazing and I never felt a single moment that I was watching the corresponding Sentai episodes but with English dubs.

@@RockstarRomania When it's good PR is better then SS but on avrage SS is more constantly good. In Space is still one of the best PR seasons, it was a great culmination of Zordon era.

That Go-Onger musical episode was the one where Go-On Yellow and Silver form a girl group with the Water Pollution Mistress to stop a monster from a sound dimension.

I do love that Kegareshia sometimes wants to be with the Go-Onger team! Especially in the 10 years after movie, which oddly enough it feels like a mixture of Go-Onger and RPM.

Also Carranger had to be like that since a lot of people in Japan soured on Ohranger, causing Super Sentai to reach an all time low, which thankfully Carranger fixed.

@@DreamMarko Fiveman was okay compared go Ohranger. Granted Ohranger problems came from the last minute changes and the fact that the Japanese people's growing malaise towards violence in TV shows due to the various terrorist attacks back then.

@@RockstarRomania I wasn't talking about the quality of the show, yeah Ohranger was very bad, but Fiveman was the one that almost got SS canceled. That's the lowest-rated one. Ohranger at least sold toys and didn't lose as many viewers.

Both RPM and Go-Onger were good shows. RPM was a take on why Super Sentai didn't create a post-apocalyptic season much like how Toei did with Fist of the North Star. Go-Onger was the most lovable season in Japan due to its main casting choice which is also the reason why all seven cast returned for an after party films ten years after the original show. The villainess Kegalesia was the most attractive of all time, that's why I had a crush on her when that show aired.

RPM, I feel like this series understand how to grow within the audiences and tried a different approach in which I felt like it may have worked. With RPM, I do feel like they want to achieve what the Super Sentai and Kamen Rider series (Despite both being different franchises and different audiences at the same time) did in terms of writing a quality of series despite limitations, but overall I felt like the showrunner actually cared on making an quality series of Power Rangers, in which I felt like this series felt more like Kamen Rider in my opinion, in which at the time, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight series aired at the same time as Power Rangers RPM. I still remember the series and honestly, proves that Power Rangers MAYBE able to grow within the audiences in terms of the quality of storytelling and hopefully not talking down towards it's audiences in that sense. These are my opinions only.

I love the post apocalytic nature of RPM. A fitting setting for the supposed ending of Power Rangers at the time. My only complaint of the season was it having to use the goofy (imo) outfits and zords from the Go-Onger sentai. It sometimes clashed with RPM but overall a fantastic season. Probably the last great season of PR, imo.

There's a show called Winx Club I recommend you watch, but it has many US dubs. The three that I know are Rai, Nickelodeon and 4kids. Other dubs I didn't care to watch after season 7. Which dub is the best to me is the 4kids dub. I won't deny that they make questionable choices, but they're not as bad as people think. If you're burned from how much they censor shows, then watch it last.

I would really like it if you did a video discussing Chojin Sentai: Jetman, the Super Sentai season that came right before Zyuranger aka MMPR. I just watched Jetman for the first time at the end of last year and OMG I loved that show more than Zyuranger and Far More than certain Power Ranger Seasons! I also noticed that there certain story elements that are similar to some of the story elements of the later seasons of Power Rangers and I actually think that the RPM Black Ranger Dillion was some what sightly inspired by The Black Condor from Chojin Sentai Jetman! Both Black Rangers were the brooding bad boy with a hidden heart of gold that they didn't want the people around them to see and both fell for the rich girl power ranger. Another thing that I loved about Jetman compared to Zyuranger was there actually were two female rangers on the team and their mentor figure was a strong independent military woman! I also liked how The Red Hawk Ranger Ryuu's storyline and personality was like a combination of Jen's personality and storyline from Power Rangers Time Force, and Andros' personality and storyline from Power Rangers in Space. It's such a shame that they never did a American Power Rangers Adaptation of Super Sentai Jetman! I would have loved to see a Power Rangers version of Chojin Sentai Jetman!

Jetman is fantastic! I've seen every episode of Super Sentai and I can confirm Jetman has the most brutal monster death in all 49* seasons so far. *I count Gorenger as 2 seasons

It will be a uphill battle to get viewers. Do videos because you really want to do them. Not just because they can get views. You will burn out and give up. If you solely look at numbers. But don't force yourself to keep going forever. Also, have lots of ideas to try. So that you aren't stuck doing just one subject on a topic.

I personally like both. Good series with their own different takes. One’s about sentient vehicles wanting to save their world while also preventing earth from being polluted. The other, a post apocalyptic future where an evil virus and AI forced humanity into a giant dome.

And funnily enough, the Go-Onger 10 Years Grand Prix movie felt like a fusion of the Go-Onger and RPM stories.
