Everybody talks about forefoot running but you have actually shown the correct way in full detail with each stage. Land on 4th 5th finger part then pronation will lead to ball behind the toe to touch the ground and finally the heel touches. Great explanation. One thing you can add about is to not have a pronounced 4th 5th finger initial contact but to focus more on landing on the balls of your feet when running in shoes. The process remains still the same. For bare foot your analysis is on the mark. 🙏

Extremely informative, thank you for for posting this. I am a long distance runner, I run 11-12 KM three-four times a week, but lately I am experiencing calf muscle pain & discomfort, especially of right leg. Could you share some tips to overcome this! BTW, I use asics nimbus-gel 23.
