There is something special in the singing style and the voice of Ranjani Gayatri. Such coordination is a rarity. The space they create for themselves while singing is too good. The last lines show how fragile all our lives is. Reading all the comments below, I would second everybody's comments. Yes this was sung by them at Kalidas Hall in Mulund as recently as February 2020 and I was happy to be listening amongst many who attended and the concert went on till 12 midnight. We could feel the divinity then and now while listening again

One of the most special renditions - the Hameer Kalyani and Saveri beautifully prefacing that stellar Abheri with a twist, one that I simply cannot resist hearing over and over again. And the composition. What a perfect pace to reel all our hearts in, and keep them tightly captivated. And that indelible lightning flash of absolutely celestial brilliance at Nadaiyum Thalara. I so vividly remember time slowing down when that happened - as Ranjani ma'am herself was so overpowered, all of us felt our hearts taken for a ride, our expectations utterly defeated and totally mocked by the sheer mastery, and our jaws forcibly dropped lower than the floors they hit so fast. Those few seconds, I'll never forget. They are worth EVERYTHING!
