On ascension, I don’t defend quick or jug, use your quicks to make the machine disappear and camp at PHD until you get jug without ever opening the door

FIVE...Claymores will help you easily reacquire Jugg. The ancient technique of stacking Bouncing Betty/claymores at the start of every round in a panic corner and eventually using them to save yourself. Just use Jugg as the panic corner.

Nah gotta disagree with tranzit bro, town is literally the most central point on the map with a teleporter spot directly adjacent to the staircase for jug and the shortcut between diner and farm making it super accessible and easy to get to. And don't try to argue about buying the door on top of getting the perk cuz you should know exactly how many doors it takes on COTD, which imo has the most out of the way and desolate jug location ever.

The problem on five was the spot where mule kick is didn’t exist when five came out until after moon and if you took mule kick out entirely and say they would’ve put jug where mule is now the spot where jug is currently would look so empty and awkward so from their pov i don’t blame them for placing it there it does look good in that spot but it is a pain in the ass

Getting to Jugg on Shadows isn’t hard at all 😂 You literally open the spawn door. You look for the broken Jugg bottle so you know which area has Jugg. You open that door. You enter beast mode. And you open the gate to Jugg/activate Jugg. It doesn’t require a lot of work at all. And in terms of random perk locations. I think Shadows did it best. Shi No did it the worst. Literally ruins high round strats if you get Jugg/Speed in the wrong area. And you have no way to tell where perks are going to be like on Shadows. The Giant did a decent job. Only because the original Jugg location on Der Reise was just terrible, so giving you a chance to have a good Jugg spot is awesome. Soe definitely did the random perk location the best.

Jugg’s location on Tranzit wouldn’t be nearly as bad if you had any reason to high round in the Town area. I still think Moon is worse though. It’s just terrible. I actually like the feeling of progression you get when first loading up the map. You start at Bus Depot and eventually make your way to Town. Turning on power and getting weapons. Picking up bus/jet gun parts. To finally make it to Town where you have the two best(imo) perks on the map. So I kind of like the location of Jugg in that aspect. It in a way solves the crutch perk issue that Blundell was so worried about. Zelinski didn’t have to get rid of Jugg. He just put actual progression on the perk. Instead of letting you get the perk almost instantly without ever being in any real danger like Blundell was doing until he eventually got rid of it for the bo4 perk system. Or just putting Jugg in the most dangerous spots, but still making it accessible on like round 3-5. But in the higher rounds, Tranzit’s Jugg spot is terrible. Going down trying to get Jugg back after 50+ rounds is just not fun. All that time wasted.

Why even open the jug door on ascension I just play without jug and if the monkey drops jug then you don't have to defend it because the door is closed and you don't need that area to access the rest of the map so if anything jug on ascension is probably the best place it could be. If you say I need jug early rounds to mid rounds on a map with the thundergun and infinite training spots and traps idk what to tell you

Perhaps, but training on Ascension is SUPER EASY. So chances are, you aren't visiting that room a whole lot. Only issue I could get annoyed with are the monkeys, but I only defend Quick Revive and Jug that way, I probably raked in a ton of points to make up for it.
