Thank you, THANK YOU for ranking Pigsy’s Noodle tank and the Elephant so high. These are such user appreciated sets IMO. The noodle tank is just one of the most FUN things LEGO has ever done, in any theme.

Flower Fruit Mountain, The Bone Demon, Monkey King Warrior Mech, Demon Bull King, and Pigsy's Noodle Tank are some of my favorite. I never got into the theme but do like the fun they have with it.

Regarding your final comments, I quite agree. The first 2 waves feels very thought out and well developed, even though there are some stinkers in there. But this year's wave feel like a big step down. There isn't really a set that I feel is a must have (especially at these prices) . They are in the phase of now creating sets just to keep the theme going for sales IMO. I don't know when they'll stop the Monkie Kid line. Isn't it their flagship theme in China? Maybe when sales fall over there they might start a new theme for China an end MK. I wouldn't be too upset if they ended it now... but will have to wait like 5 months to find out!

All in all this list shows that MK will go down as on of the top ten Lego themes ever. If not higher. And I’m old. I’m an AFOL for 35 years now and have seen the arrival of Classic Space as a kid. But there are some all time best sets here that will stand the test of time, I think. Maybe not from 2024, but certainly from wave 1-5.

Yall sleeping on creative vehicles its not like top 10 material but as a celebration of monkie kid it does its job well remakimg 3 vevhines in a smaller form. Also the system it has with the swapping parts is done really well you can get pretty creative combining the 3 without taking them all apart. (Still love the vid)

I really don’t get why you continue to rate the Galaxy Explorer that low. Really not. To me this is clearly a top five set. Granted I’m an old Lego space head, so this kind of touches my nostalgia there. But also within the MK world it’s unique but fitting. The color scheme is not off to me at all. And the set itself is done with such care and love that I’m literally moved. So, I’m a bit at a loss there. Otherwise: great list!

It’s honestly pretty cool as far as build and features go. It’s also awesome that Team MK have a literal rocket ship to visit Chang’e on the moon 😆 not sure why the red and yellow always gets to me. I think if the colorway had been more balanced like on the Warrior Mech or Ultra mech with a bigger focus on gold then it would’ve really shined. Granted, gold pieces tend to be pricier, but for a big flagship set like the galactic explorer it could have been warranted. So glad there is someone else who cares about MK sets! 😭

Probably just a personal disdain for the red and yellow. (Especially when shaped in a bottle XD) but everyone’s different and that’s OK! Thanks for your continued support, glad we found another Monkie Kid AFOL
