@PurpleBupYT number 1: it's the *ONLY* Rainbow Road left in Tour 2. The prefix leak shows us that the final track is a Wii one 3: GCN and DS Rainbow Road aren't in Tour and it's almost impossible that they will be. There are currently no plans to add any more DS or GCN courses to Tour

I can see why DS Rainbow Road was ranked in the middle, it had a really cool concept at the time with the vertical loop and corkscrew but besides that it could’ve been improved on. That’s why I’ve always hoped they’d add it to MK8D… the vertical loop and corkscrew would be PERFECT with the anti gravity and they could improve greatly on the rest! I’d be biased if I had to rank these since DS would be at the top.. it’s inversions really bring out the coaster enthusiast in me

My favorite Rainbow Road, is the one in F-Zero X, because F-Zero X & GX are actually fair racing games, and not a hollow, cartoon lottery.

It's hard to argue with Mario Kart 7's rainbow road, but Mario Kart Wii's rainbow road and Double Dash's rainbow road are both top notch. Super Circuit's rainbow road, might I add, is underrated.

I love the Custom Track Wii Remake of GBA Rainbow Road. It his the layout of the original while adding half-pipes, turning the Track 3D with it going up and down, adding a few ramps and making the shortcut easier to get on, but harder to get of, with it being a ramp you have to trick on to get the speed needed for getting back on the track. And it looks like a modern RR while keeping the magic of the original.

The concept of landing jumps on thin platforms at high speeds gives Super Circuit's rainbow road a level of challenge that I admire. Similar to Wii's rainbow road, it punishes reckless speed with tricky platforming.@@valeriebreidenstein8362

Wii rainbow road was probably shortened in mkt just because in the current version you could actually hit 200 actions so if it was 2 laps you would have been able to get to 400 actions which is gonna make the track broken as hell

I hope that they make it at least 2 or better 3 laps in BCP and remove the many fences that were added in Tour and hadn't been there in Wii. Also the trick ramps that get you over the two holes in the middle of the track should be back. In Tour they removed them, which makes the track not as much fun. With those stupid fences there is no chance for the little shortcut after those holes.

My top 5: 5th DS Rainbow Road 4th Double Dash Rainbow Road 3rd GBA Rainbow Road 2nd SNES Rainbow Road (8/8DX 1st Wii rainbow road (obviously for me) The reason I like double dash’s Rainbow Road is also because of Mushroom City Like Daisy Cruiser at Peach beach and Toad Harbour ( I think )

Here are my rankings: *NOTE: I am only including mainline Rainbow Roads, no remakes or arcade ones. 8. GBA, Sorry Super Circuit fans, but the ramps on the edge were just not enough. 7. N64, Yeah this one is way too long, but the remake in MK8 was really good. 6. SNES, Impressive for the first game, but now it has not aged well. 5. DS, The loops were not enough to impress me, but really impressive for a handheld console. 4. Wii U, I didn't like this one at first, but it grew on me. 3. GCN, Overall really good, but the next two are better. 2. 3DS, You'll see why this one is second next. The N64 Rainbow Road at the last lap ALWAYS slaps. 1. Wii, Don't hate me, this one is my favorite only because it is the one I grew up playing. If I grew up with 3DS Rainbow Road or GCN Rainbow Road, those would probably be my favorite. Here are my rankings. These are not meant to offend anyone in any way, just me voicing my opinion.

I hope so, too. We don't need any more remakes of SNES RR, it's making me crazy, having to play it in almost every new MK-game. They instead should add the RRs from Super Circuit, Double Dash and DS, which are the only onces without a Nintendo-remake, with Wii coming to BCP in Wave 6. DD!! RR is my most raced RR and I only began to play DD!! last year on the emulator, because I coudn't get it for a payable price. I raced that track at least 100 times.

3DS Rainbow Road will always be the best, with the adventure through space, to other planets, to riding on the moon, and just the beauty of the track. Not to mention that it also has that amazing motif that we hear in 64, and GCN.

Here’s my Ranking. 1. 3DS Rainbow Road/Mario Kart 8 3DS Remake Rainbow Road. (The best Rainbow Roads in my opinion. As a Mario Kart 7 Veteran, playing this game was one of my favorites. And it’s remake makes it even better.) 2. Mario Kart 8 N64 Remake Rainbow Road. (Much more Simpler, fun, and awesome than the classic. Sorry guys.) 3. Wii Rainbow Road. (As a fan of the Wii version, Riding the bike and doing stunts all over the course is so amazing. Even the spade background is amazing.) 4. Mario Kart 8 Rainbow road. (Same reason as many players.) 5. Double Dash Rainbow Road. (As a veteran player of the Double Dash Rainbow Road, I can see this track to be kinda underrated as this track can be amazing in my opinion, due to its background, and everything that has to do with the track.) 6. SNES Rainbow Road/Mario Kart Super Circuit SNES Remake Rainbow Road/Mario Kart 7 SNES Remake Rainbow Road/Mario Kart 8 SNES Remake Rainbow Road/Mario Kart Tour Rainbow Roads. (Classics like these should be ranked higher. But you’ll understand why I don’t.) 7. DS Rainbow Road. Same reason for most people. 8. GBA Rainbow road. (Sorry guys, but this one is boring as hell.) 9. N64 Original Rainbow Road. (As much as I love the classics, this one is the worst rainbow road. Due to the fact it’s boring, and hard to control.) 10. Mario Kart World Tour Mario Kart Wii Rainbow road remake. (Same reason. Too short.)

Mk7 rainbow road is also my favorite track of all time, and I still haven’t decided if I like the remake better or not. On the one hand, it got rid of some corner cuts, especially the big one on the last corner, and the light at the end of the tunnel is also gone too. On the other hand, the remake is so much fun to play and I have time trialed it extensively. Also it added a new corner cut where you drop down to the moon early

i agree with most of this, but i would swap the original snes and gba remake of snes rainbow road, since the gba version has ear-grating music and there are no thwomps, and put gba up above snes since the jumps on the sides of the track can make some fun corner cuts

Honestly if 8's version of N64 Rainbow Road was a two lap course instead of a three section course I think that would've been waaay better! I know that sounds too long, but that's still shorter than the slog that was the original, and I HATE how short it actually is in 8, partially because of how long it originally was. Feels criminal.
