And LeBron averaged 5 more assists, 7 more rebounds, and 3 more points than Kyrie in those finals, along with 4.9 blocks and steals COMBINED. LeBron had way more clutch plays - including the block - than Kyrie did in the series. Sure, Kyrie made that one shot, but what happened when Kyrie only scored 23 points compared to LeBron's 41 in game 6? Kyrie was amazing, but don't act like a ton of other 2nd option final performances haven't been better, or just as good.

Lebron 2016 should be no. 2. Everyone counted Cleveland out as warriors were unstoppable with 73-9 nba record regular season, steph being back-to-back mvp, warriors had mental edge as they had defeated the cavaliers a year before and had the 3-1 lead on the finals. That had put lbj in the most precarious position he had ever been and he had been in a lot of precarious positions in his career. He responded and did the impossible. Came back from 3-1 deficit, never been done before in finals, lead his team in all five statistical categories, never been done before in finals. That series was amazing to watch.

2016 lebron is one of the greatest finals mvps of all time and deserved to be atleast top 3 on this list. His nos may not have been as eye popping as some if his other series but what he did in that series to will his team to victory is unprecedented. The same thing goes for 2011 Dirk too, the lone star against the Miami big 3. You can't just look at nos it matters what you do for your team and how you lead them to a championship. Shaqs numbers were ridiculous in 2002, but I can't put that over Durants 2017. Durant went up against a really good Cavs team lead by Bron, while Shaq played a trash Nets team. I would put Durant at 5, Shaq at 6 and Duncan at 7. Shaq played essentially the same Nets team but was more dominant.

Going into that finals people would take Bron over KD, a lot of people take Kyrie over Curry after Currys awful 2016 showing. Not to mention Kyrie completely outplayed him. Love is over Green and Klay is better than J.R., but ironically J.R. outplayed Klay 3 out of the 5 games. No excuses KD was the vest player on the court and they won as a result. Bron was too busy trying to average a triple double instead of winning. That should have been a good series. Shannon Sharpe, Nick Wright, and Colin Cowherd all picked the Cavs to win because LeBron would be the best player on the court. People retroactively made excuse for Bron. Harden and co took them to 7 the next season. They were beatable. KD earned that win.

Kawhi in 2014, as a 3 year player = after 2 games, Spurs and Heat are tied, Kawhi in the last 3 games = 24pts, 9 rebonds, 2 steals, 2 block, 68% FG, 54% from 3, 84% from FT line, and elite defense on LeBron. He did that against the 2 times NBA champion, and probably the best player on the planet at the time. And the position of his 2019 FMVP is even more ridiculous, he won the title, without any superstar, he was by far the best player of his team, both sides of the floor...What he did was most impressive than a ton of the guys you put above, and obviously way more impressive than KD, who won his rings with a team that was the best of the league without him, he had Steph, Klay, Dray, Iggy, the system of Kerr...His rings and his finals MVP have no value...

And Duncan should be number 1 for his 2003 FVMP, and at least top 5 for his 2005 FMVP. He had absolutely nobody around him in 03, no superstar at all, no star, he won by himself, just by being amazingly dominant both sides of the floor. And he did that, after winning the East and beating Shaq and Kobe. You put above him guys who are playing in a shitty conference (LeBron 2016, and maybe Wade 2006), it's way easier to be great after winning an awful conference,. And you put above him Shaq who had Kobe, Wade who had Shaq, LeBron who had Kyrie...And Shaq was only dominant on offense, eand even LeBron/Wade wasn't that dominant on defense. There is no FMVP more impressive than Duncan 03, but sadly we live in the stats reign, everything is about the numbers. It's so mediocre. And of course, nobody cares about the Spurs and Duncan, and everything is about the stars with big egos and highlights.
