I try to keep the weapons seperate between teams, So with the brits i obviously use the revolver. And its obviously the best gun. But my go-to for the germans is the m1912. I think people in general underestimate it. Its fire rate is quick, and its accurate. If not the m1912 i go for the p38 pistol. I tend to do a lot worse with it though. I really dislike that everyone uses the revolver. wish other pistols were more viable.

@@sammcclung3728 I get that, and i also would personally. simply because its that... "german officer weapon" But as portrayed in the video it just obstructs your sight way too much while shooting. Unless your enemy already has low health, in most cases that pistol honestly gets me killed. Maybe if it was a bit.. Smaller... in the Aim down sight mode, It'd be more viable.

Just some stats from the last time I checked Symthic: - All pistols except for the 1911, and Webley Revolver, and Liberator do the exact same damage. Including the Ruby. - M1912 Repetierpistole holds it's max damage slightly higher over range. Damage starts to drop at 9 or 10 meters vs standard pistols 7 meters. Meaning it requires 1 less bullet to kill at longer ranges. - 1911 damage drops below a 3 shot kill after 7 meters. - Webley Revolver loses 2 shot kill past 7 or 10 meters. - The only major difference between pistols seems to be their recoil, reload speed, and hipfire spread values.

So I can't speak to the in game stats of the Ruby pistol, but I actually love this little thing. It was a great side arm. If you're new it's the better of the first two you unlock. The rate of fire is a godsend because if you're desperate and switch to your side arm, that burst damage is really important. The ruby has really great burst damage because of that ROF. It also has 10 bullets in the mag which means you can afford to miss a little because you will quickly be firing your next round. But I won't call it the best. I'll just say I have racked up some nice kills with it, and if the Ruby is the worst (ignoring the awful liberator) then the others must be pretty damn impressive at killing...

My fav pistol is the repitierpistole, its got the higher damage model and the same ROF as the ruby - the recoil is prob a problem on console but on PC, it shreds faster than any other pistol

The liberator was actually made to be a last resort during world war 2 and it was issued to paratroopers it was made cheaply and it was made to shoot 5 shots before falling apart so they didn’t bother with putting a auto chambering system like in other semi pistols because it was made so cheaply so thats kinda why it was so slow with reloading and such

The liberator pistol was designed for the use of the Maquis during the occupation of France. To be used as throwaway weapon once they acquire decent weapons like sten or MP40 I recall that a shipment of liberator pistol was heading to France but since they won't need due of supply run by the OSS they just throw them at the Atlantic Ocean like thousands of them
