I have an affection for the MP44. With the proper config, you have a hard-hitting, accurate, quiet rifle, with impressive stats. Your "faux sniper rifle" is a great point, but you have the option to switch to automatic fire in third-person in close combat situations if surrounded. But I absolutely agree with the manic variability of the Sten. Again, I prefer the faux sniper setup.

I am not sure if it is just because I am a multiplayer sweat and play games a lot. But with my insight. Personally. I am able to get an mp44 with 59 damage. With incredible fire rate. And if you use a scope there is NO spread accuracy. Making it actually move accurate than any other SMG except for Sten (my personal favorite) control could be difficult however. But low sense players can solve this by sticking only to 2x zoom, or putting damage higher to 65. Making every shot usually 2 or 3 shots. In short. If you're talking from a real world standpoint in guns used in 1944. Then you wont get a real life feel therefore no they are not the best. However if you simply do not care about that realism and just want something as overpowered as possible. Then scooped Sten or mp44 are wayyy above any other SMG it is not even close in my opinion. (It is easy to get 100+ meter accurate bursts with those guns with practice) (added input, you mentioned why do people use the mp44 like a sniper instead of just a real sniper.) In general, it is likely because you can get a 6x zoom with no glint, as well as this you can make it 77 damage (2 shot most cases sometimes even 1) In my personal experience, with my controlling of the gun, I can spray it like what you would do when someone is 5m away from you, but when they are 100 meters and still accurately hit and kill them. Now, I understand MY case is not easy to achieve, that is the reason for the in general idea being added. Cool input and video man thanks for the review. Of course. I intend no hate I respect your opinion completely.

While I agree with your mp44 analysis It does have 1 very important niche that its does best in, and that is invasions. One it it’s the only way for an invader to have a long-ish range weapon without glint. Two, it can max out at 77 dmg which is a very important threshold actually, I think 230 hp is what the player has(normally) 3 shots of 77 damage does 231, and that’s if you can’t line up a organ or headshot. That’s my personal take on the mp44 and where it shines

In survival and or going loud the MP44 is the best SMG by far (Also for ZA4 by the way). But for stealth I will take the Sten.

(angry MP44 nerd storms into the comment section) MP44 is best SMG in the game you- Nah I get it, watching your game play I see why you ranked it as low as you did. From an invader perspective using mouse and keyboard, I use the MP44 as a faux sniper because it doesn't have a scope glint. It's an ambush weapon that ideally only needs to fire one round per match. In this config I only use single shots and the Mauser pistol is the real SMG in this load out. When configured to be an assault rifle with a 2x scope, the MP44 is a savage beast capable of killing standard soldiers with three body shots in one accurate burst out to 100ish meters. Looking forward to the dlc weapon reviews! P.S. Oh yes the sten is still the best :D

I asked this in a previous video, but in sniper elite 4 is it worth grinding to get the damage mastery on a weapon or to just get it passively. How much of an effect does the buff have
@TWilsonSE4 ай бұрын
@@CarpeNoctem135 It's kinda dependent on the weapon. Big bolt action rifles do lots of damage anyway, but for semi-autos, some submachine guns, and a fair few pistols its definitely worth it. You can save scum it quite easily if you know what you're doing, so lots of the time it's not that hard. I've mastered all the weapons in the game, and whilst it took a while, it wasn't a herculean task

@leviathan42774 ай бұрын
You’re definitely a roleplayer. Every tryhard knows the STEN and STG44 are the best secondaries in the game since they both can have scopes and basically almost 0 recoil while aiming down sights and shooting. The Springfield and G43 are probably the worst rifles ever: the best ones are Kar98k and Mosin Nagant.
@Jknight4164 ай бұрын
@@leviathan4277 Tf you mean the Springfield is one of the worse rifle ever?! It’s got the best range, best muzzle velocity, and the best variety of scopes out of all the rifles. Which are all qualities for making a great sniper rifle. Plus it also has good damage, and very manageable recoil. I’ve practically used this rifle in every game mode in every situation imaginable and not once has it ever disappoint.

@@Jknight416 I’m talking about multiplayer, where your range mostly won’t be more than 100 metres away. You simply don’t need a 16x scope on such ranges mate😂 Mosin and K98k for the go. Quickest movement, highest damage, aiming speed, velocity and stability. Don’t need anything else

If you’re going to do a ranking video of each base secondary weapon in SE5, shouldn’t you ought to highlight and showcase the strong suits of each weapon? Just ADSing each and every one of these secondary weapon in Third-Person instead of in First-Person in their naked form without any upgrades doesn’t exactly supports nor showcases why these weapons received the ranking placements that you gave them in this ranking video. Don’t forget that in SE5, guns with better Spread are generally better for aiming in third person while guns with better Aim Stability are better for aiming in First Person.
