Yo. In this video I’m going to look at every single map in Splatoon 3 and rank them on a tier list based on how strong I think the Tri-Stringer is on that map. I’m going to do an in-depth breakdown on every map in the game and name at least one thing in each map that the bow can take advantage of to win games. You have been an absolute GODSEND to me. I've been trying to get good at the Tri Stringer but have been consistently complete trash at it. Watched your vids on tips and gameplay strategies last night, within the span of an HOUR! I went from garbage to cracked. Tri Stringer main for life!

It seems like this video came on the perfect time! Been in love with Tri-Stringer since I've tried it on the splatfest testfire and it has been awesome to play with it on ranked modes. Now that the European tournaments are coming and there are national qualifiers as well, I intend to use this weapon a lot and this video was perfect to help me understand what kind of comps we can use on certain map/modes and how I can deal with hypothetical situations. Really thankful for sharing your thoughts and tips for each map/mode and how to deal with some hypothetical situations!

Thanks for this video. I have been struggling to win my rank up battle to S+. Today there was a rotation of Splatzones with both Undertow Spillway and Scorch Gorge. i think i must intuitively understand the tri stringer bc ive always loved playing it on scorch gorge and undertow. anyway i just found your channel and its so nice to see someone making videos about tri stringer.

I'm pretty much in alignment with you rankings here although I generally only play turf war. My only change is that I rank Mincemeat Metalworks as a solid map, though if I come up against a good eliter I'm usually screwed. Otherwise amazing and I like how you use the recon to show the positioning for all map modes which I really like when testing my range out so I know what where I can hit with 1 charge 2 charge and no charge.

So I am EXTREMELY LATE, BUUUUUT I'M HERE LOL. (Also I got my 5* on bow a while back ^^) So here's my opinion on each map: -Wahoo: difficult to play when there's chargers or very fast slayers in the lobby. You just get so easily pushed and the lack of paint and movement on the stringer does NOT help it get away. I agree tho, zones is alright for stringer on this map since it's not a moving objective. -Hammerhead: I COMPLETELY AGREE BRO. Once you're pushed back into your spawn, it's so difficult to get in without straight up relying on teammates or specials for a push. Plus, once you're really pushed back, something like a machine or a range blaster can completely keep you from getting any value. -Mahi: Zones is a pretty good on this map for the stringer. Good spots to hold and you can keep so many enemies away. Tower is alright, but yeah when the water drops you become a lot more vulnerable. Rainmaker and clam is most definitely a pain lol. Lack of good spots and protected areas hold it back. -Sturgeon: Yep. I do NOT like bow on this map. The best high ground spot can be played but can be dealt with easily if they have like a blaster. Plus, the second one toward the right is just not far enough to get you enough value. It feels awkward playing this map if you're like in neutral or even keeping them away from mid, cuz once you do take mid, where are you going to hold? Low ground doesn't have enough cover and you'll be easily caught out. -Mincemeat: The amount of range you can have on this map is AMAZING. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT if you have to fight an e liter, unless they're really bad, you're in a neutral game for a VERY LONG TIME. Plus you can't even push up to mid for a good spot because there is no cover. Buuuuut if you're up against a bunch of slayers......hehehehe -Mako: Tower is GREAT and allows for a lot of spots for you to hold on stringer. Clam is alright, but I feel like a simple sponge to get to high ground for defenders would make it MUCH EASIER if you need to back up. Rainmaker is ok and zones can be difficult due to lack of spaces to hold, easily being pushed out, or there simply being an eliter on their high ground. -Eeltail: Splat zones can be is fun if you want to help your teammates lmao, same with other modes. BUT, it's super easy for them to keep you away but ya know what, it's a decently fun time. -Inkblot: Yeah rainmaker is pretty meh. Difficult for it people rush in with like tacti and tetras. For other modes, AUGHHHH IT'S SOOOO FUNNNNNN. Preventing people from moving at mid is just great. -Musuem: Very fun to just challenge people with the arc shots and seeing my teammates capitalize on it. I particularly love playing with my friends and just seeing the satisfaction of an assist lol. Oh sorry I got sidetracked. I feel the most difficult thing here is just e liter, and trying to pressure them, but you can definitely do so, therefore it's a pretty good map for it. -Hagglefish: I love stringer on this map, so fun to just keep people away, and even if they begin to push, you can just go to one of your tents. Plus, once you do push, there are many important areas you can just keep people away from those areas. I agree with your opinion on this map honestly, def valid putting it in the top 3. -Undertow: Dude. The inability to be challenged on like clam blitz, is just PERFECTION. Rainmaker is DEFINITELY A YIKES....idk what the devs were thinking lol. Tower offers very good rotations, and it honestly pretty fun. Plus, once you push up on them in tower, you can just zone them out with the arrows. And zones....even if it is poorly designed, it's good for stringer so we take those. Though personally, I kinda enjoy hagglefish a BIT more but that's just preference. -Scorch: Dude, I used to be iffy on this map once I first picked up tri-stringer all the way back in the beta, BUT AFTER SOME TIME....yeah this weapon is SO FUN on this map. Anytime scorch is in rotation, it's a good stringer day man. Zones gives you so much freedom, especially once you control zone. Just gotta be aware of chargers, but as long as you respect them it's a good time. Tower is pretty good for just keeping enemies out of tower and easily keeping them away from other spots. Not much cover at mid but it's good in neutral. Rainmaker is pretty solid, not much to say honestly. SO IN CONCLUSION: I agree with everything lmao. Only thing I might change is swapping undertow and hagglefish due to preference but just me ;) Well I know this is a bit of a side note but, I feel like splash wall would make stringer AMAZING on maps with less cover. It'd help you deal with chargers and other ranged weapons since you can just plop it down and keep holding an area. Food for thought I suppose. Anywho man, this video was superb (I mean I wrote a long comment about it how could it not be). Seeing you talk about stringer just makes my day dude, and I'm glad you're helping others see the potential in this weapon than them just saying "it's a charger that can't kill." Your videos will age like fine wine once more and more people get into stringer and more maps that favor it come out. Super excited to see what happens in the future for both your channel and for stringer! #BowGang

My favorite detail about undertow zones is that the things above the zones that you stand on actually block tenta missiles meaning its impossible to missile like 90% of the zones

I'm really digging these tri stringer vids! It's also great to have somebody agree how terrible wahoo world is, I have hated that map since 2018. I'm still skilling up with this weapon, maybe always will be, but man even with my mediocre ability scorch gorge makes me feel like a hero more often than not. I have had some bad times on undertow-- I think I agree with this entire tier list except I would have put that one down a row or two and I consider inkblot art academy a darn good contender for top tier. Oh hey ! solution for wahoo world : Turbo int the big run and see if they are going to remove it :D Really good video as usual, that showed me some things that i never noticed on my tri-stringer experience in anarchy (i stopped anarchy since some weeks since i got S+ bow only for my stupid green flag on every weapon in turf and salmon run).

From my personal experience after reaching max freshness on Tri-stringer and S+3 exclusively ranking with it, I think Eeltail Alley is the strongest map for it, e.g. getting it on turf wars or splat zones is almost a guaranteed carry and win for me unless my team really sandbags, getting control of the bridge or platforms depending on the mode while denying the other team from using it gives you the ability to ink the entire bottom without moving too much, and in case you're not in control it's extremely easy to recover it thanks to the toxic mist and explosive arrows spam which will almost always force enemies to back out or drop out of it, it's almost the same story with tower control, the bridge gives you a lesser advantage because of how it's split but the stringer makes up for it with how brutal it is at securing the tower.

I love using the tri stringer. It is so much fun to use. Hitting one shots is so satisfying. Especially blind arc shots hitting enemies behind cover or over walls. I have a couple of replays id like to share if you dont mind me posting replay codes in here.

Here are a few replay codes RUTX-GXG9-MG38-APQ2 Wahoo World Tower Control RLUC-9KKX-3A84-SY2C Undertow Spillway Splat Zones RYSU-0F0E-EYPC-VPKH Mincemeat Metalworks Splat Zones Notes- I am a 5 star tri stringer user. Ive put in alot of hours with the weapon but am by no means a splatoon 3 pro. Take note of how I change my shots depending on the situation as @NBound has shown in these videos. Partial charges and tap shots to assist my teammates who are engaged in battle. Full charges and vertical shots to try to get splats. And arc shots over cover and towards enemies i cannot see. Also tap shots to quickly paint especially in the zones. Thank you @NBound for allowing me to post these. Enjoy!
